Assessing Selected Indicators Using Statistical Methods

The bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of selected indicators of SAKO Brno a.s. using statistical methods. Theoretical starting points describing selected indicators and statistical methods are presented in the first part of thesis. The practical part contains the calculations of the individual indicators for the period from 2009 to 2015, which are necessary for the development of own solutions proposals. The bachelor thesis also includes a simple application created in Microsoft Office Excel 2016.

This thesis aims to evaluate the financial situation ČSAD Kyjov, a. s. with the help of financial analysis and based on sound statistical analysis using statistical methods.The first part addresses the theoretical basis for solving the problems identified, the second part is focused on the evaluation values found financial analysis and prediction of their future development using statistical methods. Based on data from financial analysis formulates proposals to address the identified issues to improve the situation of economic and statistical analysis will provide insight intofurther development for the years 2011 and 2012.
Evaluation of the financial situation of a company using systems of financial indicators

This thesis describes financial health of a chosen company by using the systems of fi-nancial indicators. Financial health is not the only subject of research. Partial goal describes the best aplicable methods for the industry of the chosen company. To achieve sufficient professional level of work output, the whole thesis is supported by knowledge of professional literature. The reader is acquianted with the basic concepts of financial analysis and its methods. The systems of financial indicators are then described in detail. The goal is attained by using parallel set of indicators, an intercompany comparison, a pyramid set of indicators and a purposelly selected set of financial indicators. Selected systems of financial indicators are compared using statistical values with a sample of companies from the same industry. Model INFA MPO is used for wider spatial compa-rison. All systems of financial indicators are evaluated separately. These results are then com-pared with each other and models with the best results are determined. Further are men-tioned suggestions for financial management of the selected company.
