Cableway station in Pec pod Sněžkou
Kornfeldová, Nathaly Sarah ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of the steel structure of the cableway station in Pec pod Sněžkou. The steel structure with floor plan dimensions of 24 x 48 m and a height of 12,5 m consists of 9 transverse frames spaced 6 m apart. This creates a lattice frame, which is supported on the other side by an inclined column made of steel open cross-section. In the middle transverse frame, due to the necessary space required for the exit of the cable car, the column is omitted. The spatial stiffness of the construction is secured by bracings. The construction is designed from S355 steel.
The cableway station Vranča-Kohútka
Pelc, Norbert ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is focused on alternative structural design of the base cableway station in Vranča, Zlín region. Structure is designed as a hall at rectangular floor plan 22x28 m. Material solution of the load-bearing structure consist of mixture of glutted laminated timber and solid timber. The snow load has the major impact on possible arrangement of the structure (mountain area). The major focus of the thesis is on structural details – frame joint and anchorage. The thesis includes the study which objective is an alternative design of the frame joints in consideration of global behavior of the structure.
