Heating of the guesthouse
Diatel, Jakub ; Topič, Jan (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The theoretical part of this thesis is based on ideal design of solar systems and determine physical properties of antifreezing mix based on glycol in different concentration by Swiss mathematical model. In practical part is solved heating of the guesthouse by pellets. Heating of the hot domestic water was designed by solar collectors. Forced ventilation was designed with heat recovery.

Dependency between Deflation and Recession in Japan over the Past Two Decades
Vopat, Daniel ; Ryska, Pavel (advisor) ; Franče, Václav (referee)
Aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out if and in what manner has been the real GDP growth influenced by change of price level in Japan during last twenty years. This period is in Japan characteristic by economic stagnation often accompanied by deflation. Many economists and politicians presume that deflation keeps Japanese economy from growing again and they consider deflation to be an undesirable element that needs to be prevented. We use methods of econometric analysis to achieve our goal. To be more specific we use ordinary least squares estimation on quarterly data. The model is estimated in two ways to prevent possible influence of world economic crisis in 2008 and 2009. First model takes into account all collected data and second model drops out data from world economic crisis period. According to the first mentioned model analysis, the fourth lag of price level is negatively correlated with real GDP growth on 5 % significance level. To put it in another way, deflation was followed by acceleration of quarterly real GDP growth. This correlation was insignificant in the second model. Our research indicates that there is no reason to consider deflation being the cause of long lasting economic stagnation. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Generativity and stagnation in middle adults in the relation to characteristics of family of origin
Millová, Katarína
The aim of the research was to examine the relationship between generativity, stagnation and characteristics of family of origin (parental SES, parent-child relationship and family type). We proceeded from McAdams and de St. Aubin´s model of generativity and Bradley´s model of stagnation and own family typology (harmonious, average, disharmonic, and incomplete family). Participants (N=77, 52-54 years, 33 men) are part of Brno Longitudinal Study and completed battery of questionnaires measuring stagnation (BSS), generative concern (LGS) and action (GBC). Characteristics of family of origin were examined during their childhood and adulthood: parental SES (education and occupation) and type of the family (10 years), parent-child relationship (15 years), and retrospective parent-child interaction (47-49 years). People from harmonious families achieved significantly higher levels of generativity and lower levels of stagnation. Participants with higher educated mothers achieved higher levels of generative action. In the area of parent-child interaction we found significant negative relationship only between stagnation and retrospective assessed parental involvement.
