Strengthening study of a reinforced concrete plain girder

The subject of my bachelor thesis is to analyze existing reinforced concrete plain girders according to the current standards with a variety of strengthening solutions. The roof girders are located in industrial building in Lanškroun in the Pardubice Region. Its original design dates back to 1998, therefore the roof girders were designed according to the standards valid at that time. The strengthening of the roof girders will be designed using additional external prestressing and composite reinforcement followed by verification of the ultimate limit state, serviceability limit state and fire resistance. A digital model for checking the calculation was created using software Scia Engineer. For the verification of the composite reinforcement software Sika CarboDur was used.
Training Center Zašová - construction technological project

The subject of work is building-technology project Training center in Zasova. The study includes a technical report on the construction technological project, technical report of the site equipment project including a drawings, design of the main building machines, technical report of transport relations, itemized budget, the detailed time plan of the construction, technology regulations to of the selected construction processes, inspection and testing plans, occupational safety, environment, contract for construction works, major lifting mechanisms evaluation from an economic perspective.
Roof beam in the industry hall

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the assessment of the existing roof girder in the industrial hall and subsequent outline of strengthening this construction. The girder is located in an industrial hall in Lanškroun and its original design is dated from 1998. Nowadays, cracks appear on the girder, therefore it is necessary to reassess it according to the current valid standards ČSN EN. The girder is appraised for the ultimate limit state, thus for bending and shear, and also for the serviceability limit state, thus for the pressure limit, width of cracks and transformation. Due to the fact, that not all assessments pass, hence a suitable structure strengthening with a MonoStrand prestressing strands is designed and the construction is reassessed again. For the control of a manual calculations of the internal forces on girder, was created a structural model in a program called Scia Engineer.
Sports and Rehabilitation Center

This master´s thesis elaborates a project documentation of sports rehabilitation center in Brno–Bystrc. The building object is four-storeyed and a partial basement. On the basement floor there is a pool with sauna, gym and fitness with support to assist for all activities offered. On the ground floor there is an entrance, reception for accommodation, restaurant and kitchen for the restaurant. The 2nd overground floors is determined by the rehabilitation clinic. On the grand and overground floor are designed sanitary appliances for the restaurant and patient surgeries. There are projected 9 apartments for weekend accommodation. Apartments allow access to the terrace. Foundations are made strip foundations. The building object is bricked and insulated with ventilated facades. Load bearing structure of the roof create roof trusses.
Space structure of industry building object

The subject of this project is the structure of the storage hall which is made of reinforced concrete. It is designed as precast frame (span of 18m), founded on pocket footings. The roof deck (non-rigid) consists of ribbed slabs. The cladding is made of sandwich panels (reinforced concrete and isolation) layed on foundation beam. The design is focused on the single typical frame. Roof girder, column and pocket footing are designed. Designed life of the structure is 50 years.

Bachelor's thesis solved design of Residential building in Pikárec.The building has three floors and none basement. House’s situated in gentle slope. The entery is located from local road. Design of building includes parking places for residents. There are seven flats in the building. One flat is maisonette. Every flat has own balcony and in the highest floor is tercce.The roofing is solved by roof girder and roof truss member. The mansonry system of HELUZ company is apllied in this project. Floor structure is designet as prefabricated rib-and-filler floor HELUZ MIAKO.
Thermal pool roof structure

This master’s thesis deals with the design and assessment of a load-bearing timber roof structure of a thermal pool located in the Jeseník spa. The structure was chosen based on two preliminary variants. The ground plan dimensions of the construction are 37,5×22,5 metres and it reaches a height of 10 metres at the highest point. A main load-bearing system is constructed of transverse frames from wave-shaped roof trusses and columns made of a glued laminated timber. The axial distance of the frames is 2,5 metres and they are connected by purlins. The transmission of loads in longitudinal direction and the spatial rigidity of the structure are secured by the system of steel bracing. The structure is covered with a green roof. The cladding consists of glass facade and sandwich wall panels. The thesis contains a technical report, detailed static calculation and drawing documentation of the selected variant.
