The goal of this bachelor’s thesis is to analyze and make a overview of self-cleaning screen for sewerage plants. This thesis aims to compare self-cleaning screens regarding machine design concepts.

This bachelor thesis contains a short summary and overview of different types of screens. The thesis further deals with a design of hydraulically driven screens. Both analytical calculations and finite element method were used in the course of solution finding. The proposed of solution was created in 3D program Autodesk Inventor Proffesional 2013. Manufacturing of selected parts were also created in the same program.
