Export support for MEGA Company on the market of the Republic of South Africa

The topic of this master thesis is Export support for MEGA Company on the market of the Republic of South Africa. The first part outlines possible forms of expansion to the foreign market and then State support of export. In the second part there is characterized and analyzed the business situation of MEGA Company, or rather Offer, based on an interview with a Company representative. The third part deals with the analysis of the South African market in terms of significant information for exporters, or rather Demand. In this part there was also carried out an interview with a representative of CzechTrade, which outlined the current macroeconomic situation in the Republic of South Africa and the name of a successful Czech company doing business on this market. Based on own survey, there was also carried out a questionnaire survey with representatives of Czech successful companies doing business on the South African market. The output of this master thesis is the proposal of expansion to the market of the Republic of South Africa in regards of State support of export, Company's offer, market demand, own experience of other companies and current situation on the market of expansion.
Legal Regulation of Activities of the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation

Legal Regulation of Activities of the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation The subject of this thesis is an analysis of regulatory instruments which affect the working of the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (abbreviated as EGAP in Czech). While the main point of focus are the legal instruments, non-legal tools needed to be considered as well for a full understanding of the topic. The first chapter covers the historical development of the corporation and its importance for the economy of the Czech Republic. Other institutions supporting export are also mentioned in short - the Czech Export Bank and the CzechTrade agency. In the second chapter I analyse relevant legislation of the Czech Republic and the European Union and international agreements as well. The next chapter consists of a description of insurance products in EGAP portfolio and their comparison. In the fourth chapter, I first outline the export policy of the Czech government and I follow to explain the means of financing the corporation and the capital requirements that are put on it. Business environment in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the quality of business environment of the Czech Republic, nevertheless, the main goal of the thesis is to evaluate the current system of the export support. Firstly, the opening chapter attempts to define the term business environment theoretically, after that it puts forward the possibilities of quantifying the quality of this indicator and then summarizes its evolution specifically in the Czech Republic. The second chapter is particularly devoted to the system of economic diplomacy in the Czech Republic and concentrates primarily on the support of export as a part of national business support programs. In this context, the thesis analyses in full detail the Export Strategy of the Czech Republic for the period 2012-2020, its updated version of 2016 and also how defined goals are met on an ongoing basis. The final part provides the export survey carried out within small and medium-sized enterprises. This survey evaluates whether the system of the state export support is generally known and used within this segment.
Application of the EPE model in EGAP activities and real impacts of business case on the Czech economy

This diploma thesis is centred on the importance of State support for exports. It defines the international rules which must be respected by State export policies, and deals with the basic principles and activities of institutions which together form the integrated system of State support for exports in the Czech Republic. Within this overall context, the practical component of this diploma thesis examines the work of the Czech State Export Credit Agency (EGAP), and describes their newly created Export Promotion Effectiveness methodology (EPE) which aims to evaluate the economic risk-benefit of a each business case. It goes on to describe the phases and steps of the underwriting process which every business case must go through. The underwriting process is illustrated with the help of a process map, and defines points at which the EPE model can be used. An important part of this diploma thesis represents a case study which demonstrates the application of the EPE model to a real business case.
Application of the Consensus OECD in Export Financing

This thesis deals with the support of export and export financing, with a focus on international regulation of this area, namely the Consesus OECD, i.e. the Arrangement on Officially Supported Export Credits. The paper describes the general background of this Arrangement and its requirements on the financial terms of provided export credits. The above mentioned is demonstrated on the concrete practice in the Czech Republic. The paper includes a detailed overview of the institutional framework of official support of export credits and the most important export credits parameters are illustrated by concise indicative offer of export financing. This thesis also summarizes the process and possible outcomes of current negotiations concerning the Consensus OECD and possible future cooperation with non-participant countries.

Bachelor's work entitled Financing of medium-term export credits focuses in the first part on the theoretical definition and characteristic of the issue of medium-term export financing. There are then introduced the risks that you can meet in the area of export financing. In the second part it is also explained the system of state support for exports and the role of the export credit agencies in the Czech Republic -- Česká exportní banka, a.s. and Exportní garanční a pojišťovací společnost, a.s. In the third part there are characterised individual products of medium-term export financing and defined their positives and negatives.
Czech Economic Diplomacy as Support of Export to Germany

The thesis deals with the Czech economic diplomacy. The aim is to assess the role of the Czech economic diplomacy, especially in terms of support of the foreign trade with Germany. The thesis is divided into five chapters, the first chapter contains the theoretical notion, the second chapter deals with the development of economic diplomacy in the Czech Republic from 1989 until today, the third chapter describes current model of the Czech economic diplomacy. The fourth chapter examine Czech network of export promotion in Germany and the fifth chapter is devoted to case studies of two Czech export companies.
Officially supported export financing

The aim of this thesis is to analyze government supported export financing in the Czech Republic. The first theoretical part is primarily devoted to the definitions of the basic concepts and features, focusing in particular on conditions of payments. This section also describes methods and instruments of export finance as well as activities of the most important institutions that participate in promoting exports. The second part of this work is practically oriented. Individual processes and methods are put into practice on a model contract.
Risk management of export financing

The aim of the diploma thesis is to propose and evaluate the political and credit risks management associated with the export of medical equipment to countries outside the European Union, including the short and long term analysis of financing options. Alternative solutions are based on well-known approaches of state organizations, which are experienced with the issue and commercial solutions offered by London Market in cooperation with the London insurance market. The main output is comparison of the proposed solutions and evaluation of the optimal solution according to the established criteria by Czech exporter.
The Comparation of Instruments of the State Export Support in the Czech Rebublic and Russian Federation

The aim of my bachelor thesis was to compare the support of export in the Czech Republic and Russian Federation from the institutional and legislative point of view and to assess effort of the both countries in this field. My thesis descibes the support of export itself and defines the legislative framework of the support of export in the Czech Republic and Russian Federation. After that the individual institutions which focus on the support of export are characterized. The complex comparation of the national system of the support of export and state institutions is placed in conclusion of my bachelor thesis.
