The aim of this bachelor thesis is a brief, critical search of the types of skid steer loader log splitters on the market and the creation of a custom conceptual design for the specified parameters. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter concentrates on the market research, the second chapter describes the custom design and the third chapter is a force analysis to check the functionality of the splitter. In the fourth chapter the strength check of the important parts is solved and finally in the fifth chapter the stability of the whole machine is checked.
