Possibilities of Using Canine Therapy in School Counseling Facilities

This bachelor thesis deals with topics of Possibilities of using canine therapy in school counseling facilities. The work describes the course of canine therapy, methods and forms, goals. This bachelor thesis includes the benefits and risks of canine therapy from the perspective of workers. This bachelor's thesis includes a SWOT analysis that maps strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the provision of canine therapy. Main focus of this bachelor thesis is on helping to provide services (type, form, goals, benefits, number of clients, aids, documentation management) within the activities of school counselors. A partial goal is the possible benefits, pros, cons and risks associated with the practice of canine therapy in school counseling services.
Cooperation kindergartens integrating children with disabilities with special educational centres.

TITTLE: Cooperation kindergartens integrating children with disabilities with special educational centers. AUTHOR: Bc. Dana Strouhalová DEPARTMENT: Department of special education SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Lenka Felcmanová ABSTRACT: The goal of my diploma thesis named "Cooperation between special learning centers and kindergartens that integrate children with disabilities" is to point out issues of integration process in common kindergartens.The first part deals with theoretical knowledge in the field and explains technical terms of special and preschool education. Then it focuses on a current legislative framework in Czech Republic which covers integration of children with disabilities into kindergartens. The second part of the thesis is research realized among teachers in preschool educational facilities. Its main purpose was to find how the integration process works and what are experiences of teachers who teach classes where are children with disabilities. The conclusion displays the meaning and how important it is to integrate children with disabilities in kindergartens. Reasons of persons arrangig in to primary practical school in Vimperk

The thesis is focused on the most frequent causes of placement of individuals to the Special School in Vimperk and to the dislocated working compartment Volary. The theoretical part deals with contemporary system of education for mentally retarded individuals, it deals especially with a special school and educational counseling facilities. Further, it describes mental retardation, psychosocial and sociocultural handicap. The practical part includes the analysis of the available documentation of all the students from the Special School in Vimperk. The analysis shows the most frequent cause of the placement of the students to the special school is mental retardation. The causes include also psychosocial and sociocultural handicap, however these are not the major causes of placement of individuals to this school facility.
Special educational needs of disabled pupils from the point of view of the elementary school teachers

The diploma work deals with the school integration of handicapped children into basic schools and with the grades of this integration. It provides the legislative backround, defines special pedagogy and outlines the theoretical essentials of the educational needs of pupils with visual and hearing impairments, pupils with communication disorder, with physical handicap and combined impairments. The diploma work also defines its objectives, characterizes the studied sample of respondents and describes the research methods and methodology. The research results are shown in tables and diagrams. The work is concluded with an analysis of the stated hypotheses.
