Mixing board with class-AB output amplifier
Krolák, David ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the type of mixer preamplifier with active tone control for each of four inputs. This preamplifier is used at dance parties, concerts and recording songs if it equipped with a line output for recording device. The thesis also includes design of power amplifier in class AB with output power 2 × 100 W at 8 nominal load, simulations and a summary of the results.
Design of class AB stereo audio power amplifier
Zatloukal, Tomáš ; Polák, Ladislav (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The following work deals with design of class AB low-frequency amplifier, which is appropriately supplemented by correction Pre-amplifier and inrush protection circuit. The original schematic from prof. Leach was edited to fulfill task and to be easily completed from discrete components. The result of this work is the final design of power amplifier and correction pre-amplifier, protection circuit for speakers and power supply. As a next part, the design of printed circuit boards will be described together with assembling and mounting of boards in a construction box. Power amplifier will be verified by simulation and hardware measurements.
Class AB stereo audio amplifier with output power 2 x 120 W / 4 ohms
Pavlovič, Matúš ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis we will deal with the design of a stereo amplifier with a power stage in working class AB with a nominal power of 2x120 W / 4. We decided to design the audio amplifier itself into blocks, while we can expand the individual blocks by others if necessary. In the first chapter we propose frequency corrections for an audio amplifier using operational amplifiers. In the second chapter we will propose an indication of the excitation of the audio amplifier, using the integrated circuit LM3915 in connection with LED diodes. In the third chapter we will design the power stage of the audio amplifier operating in class AB with a power of 120 W. In the fourth chapter we will design the protection of the connected speaker to the amplifier. In the sixth chapter we will design the power circuits for the audio amplifier. The next chapters will describe the implementation and measurement of the proposed audio amplifier.
Audio amplifier working in class AB with 400W output power
Kopic, Jan ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Petržela, Jiří (advisor)
The content of the thesis is the theory related to low-frequency audio amplifiers that is summarized in a separate chapter. This section describes the division of these amplifiers according to various criteria, as well as their working classes and parameters that determine their behavior. In addition, this thesis contains a description of the principle of the function of the selected class AB amplifier, which is divided into individual functional blocks and completed by the addition of speaker protection circuit. Criteria of selection for important chosen components are mentioned in appropriate chapters and supplemented with data from components datasheets. The output results of the simulations are always commented and compared with the calculated values at the end of the relevant chapter. The attachment of the thesis contains PCB design for the device realization. The correct operation of build device has been verified and measured.
