Chosen non-governmental organisation fighting against corruption

The aim of this bachelor work is to define the term corruption and to introduce some chosen non-governmental organisation fighting against corruption worldwide and also in the Czech Republic and to evaluate their success in this fight. In the first part there are described a definition of corruption, its typologies, syndromes, causes and impacts. The Principal-Agent-Client theory and the theory of bureaucracy are also included there. In the second part the chosen non-governmental organisation fighting against corruption worldwide are the Group of the World Bank, Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD), U4.NO, Transparency International and the United Nations (UN). The Czech branch of Transparency International (TIC), Oživení and Růžový panter represent the non-governmental organisation in the Czech Republic that were chosen. The anti-corruption line 199 is mentioned marginally.
