This master's thesis deals with the somatic methods used in a contemporary dance performative practice. The thesis' main focus is on somatic techniques that are inherent to and actively used in a performer's training, creative practice and performance. The aim of the thesis is describing the specific methods, their use and their positive outcome in a creative performer's practice.
