	Methodological framework of system analysis for the development of the banking system Rahm, Vladimír ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Štalmach, Tomáš (referee) The diploma thesis deals with software development methodologies and modeling tech-niques that can be used for the development of core banking system. The main aim of the thesis is to design a methodical framework of analysis which takes into account the spe-cifics of the banking environment and the development of the core banking system itself. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is devoted to the specifics of core banking development, analysis of life cycle software models, software development methodologies and their suitability for the development of the core banking system. The suitability of individual software development methodologies is assessed by the METES system for evaluation and selection of methodologies. The second part is focused on modeling techniques and notations, especially on UML, BPMN notation and CASE tools. The third and final part of the thesis contains a design of the methodological framework of analysis for the development of a core banking system focusing on the specifics of the banking environment. First part discuss the requirement management and requirement engineering. I described basic principles, processes and definitions which this discipline involves. In second part I compared the approaches of traditional and agile software development methodologies (Rational Unified Process, Feature Driven Development and Extreme Programming) to the software management and their differences. In the last part I introduce case study of real development project of information system for vehicle insurance administration.
