The effect of soil successional development in spoil heap on plant germination and growth
Pavlíčková, Hana ; Frouz, Jan (advisor) ; Mudrák, Ondřej (referee)
Previous field research show, that late successional species correspond with soil development, especially with organomineral A horizon developing. Aim of my thesis was to compare plant growth on different types of soil from spoil heaps. They were taken from three chronosequencies of different age - nonrecultivated and soils recultivated with planting of alder (Alnus) and spruce (Picea). In my research were used 7 types of plants - Arrhenatherum elatius, Centaureae jacea, Festuca rubra, Lychnis flos-cuculi, Lotus corniculatus, Plantago major, Trifolium medium. Spontaneous sites support more species than reclaimed ones this difference increase with plot age without distinct difference between early and late succession species. Key words Succession, recultivation, germination alder (Alnus), spruce (Picea), Arrhenatherum, Centaureae, Festuca, Lychnis, Lotus, Plantago, Trifolium.
Numerická simulace pohybu teplotního pole v CLT panelu
Grégr, Jan
Thesis examines the thermal properties of cross laminated timber (CLT). Experi-mental measurement was carried out in heat flow meter. There were measured samples of spruce CLT with dimensions 600 x 600 mm of various thicknesses and number of board layers. The properties were also measured within two different humidity states. The results, especially of the thermal conductivity, are compared and the influence of factors on thermal properties of CLT is researched. There are also numerical models, created in ANSYS software, on which were simulated conditions in heat flow meter and real conditions. The thermal flux through panel cross section was analyzed.
Roubená dřevostavba se zateplením
Foltýn, Pavel
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of a timbered bungalow family house for a four-member household. The design works with current and future requirements of thermal properties of the perimeter shell. The thesis also deals with the problems of the selected construction system of the peripheral shell as well as with the basic constructional details. The processing also includes an assessment of structures in terms of the thermal properties’ requirements for the given structure. The thesis proposes several layout solutions of the object and their mutual comparison. In addition, the thesis deals with an issue and subsequent solution of the use of water from several sources. The work contains complete drawing documentation for building permits, technical reports and proof of energy performance of buildings.

Zkoumání vybraných vlastností neupraveného a tepelně upraveného smrkového a modřínového dřeva z pohledu vhodnosti na výrobu šindele
Hlobil, Vladimír
The aim of this thesis is the analysis and comparison of selected material properties of spruce, larch, heat-treated spruce and larch in terms of suitability for the production of wood roof shingles. Monitoring and comparing characteristics are durability of the wood material against the brown rot fungus, compressive strength across the fiber, bending strength and modulus of elasticity. Tested material and its selected properties are compared as for use in the manufacture and installation of wooden shingles.
Vliv složení směsi UF lepidla a disperzního PVAc lepidla na pevnost lepeného spoje
Haškovec, Ivo
The thesis deals with the influence of mixture of the mixed adhesive and dispersion PVAc adhesive for bonding strength in shear strength. For the testing were selected two economically very important wood species (the spruce and beech wood) which are used in construction, furniture and building industry. All samples were grouped by the type of adhesive and by the temperature used for 28 days conditioning. All samples were bonded with coating 120 g/m2. After bonding, pressing and conditioning to required temperature were all samples subjected to a test, which examines the bonding strength in shear. The thesis deals with the comparison of the results and examines the effect of the adhesive mixture to bonding strength.
Lepení materiálů na bázi dřeva pomocí mikrovlnného záření
Hlučka, Marek
The thesis delas with the influence of microvawe radiation on shear strength. For this experiment were selected two of our most common wood species which are used in furniture, construction and other industries and fields. Namely spruce wood and beech wood. All species were bonded by water-based dispersion adhesive (coating 150 g/m
