KRCHŇAVÁ, Klára
The thesis describes a religious conversion of a human being as a process of turning/affiliation his/her life to the God. The conversion is understood here as a process of forming a new identity. The first part follows the view on human life without the God through three different fields {--} psychology, sociology and theology. The psychological view shows the possible levels of identification of a man/woman and his/her desire for self-fullfilment. Sociology gives us the reflection of sociological researches of contemporary deconsecrated society. Theology tries to explain the possible causes of deconsecration and diversion from the institutionalized religion in the Czech republic. The second part summarizes the problems of human life with the God. In compare with the previous part the second part is understood as a view on a convert´s life. Psychology shows the possible problems of conversion in psychical processes of a human being. The sociological part follows predominantly two lines of the process of conversion- {\clqq}drift model`` and {\clqq}brainwashing model``. The theological point of view describes the process of Christian initiation of a young man/woman. The final part follows the process of identification of a man/woman with the Church.
