Marketing importance of Body image

Today's era depicts life of consumer society with the growing battle for customers. Every single person in this world wants to have a solid life and look pretty. Advertisements, which display handsome and slender people are all around us and they influence our consumer behavior. We tend to equilibrate these ideals by buying the most diverse products and even attempt to achieve the alleged feeling of happiness. This thesis is focused on Body image in which explains individual consumer behavior, its social and cultural predispositions and the type of beauty ideal portrayed and prefered by men and by women. It also explains self esteem, its image in the past and its influence regarding to media and advertisements. The aim of this work is to determine the most frequent elements of respondent's Body image, by using my research. And as a result define the most often presented ideal body image. I also analyze the effects of social networks on Body image of younger generation and to what extent it changes their normal habits.
Coping strategies, social support and self-esteem siblings of children with autism spectum disorder

This thesis is focused on the psychosocial situation of autism spectrum disorder siblings, especially on coping strategies, self esteem and social support. The goal of this thesis is to define which coping strategies siblings use and the "health" of their social support and self esteem. The Research sample was taken from organizations dealing with autism. The Method of research was an interview, two worksheets and a questionnaire on self esteem. One worksheet was inspired Children´s Coping Questionnaire. The Research sample was limited to four children. They were from nine to eleven years old. The Children comprised three boys and one girl. The Results were presented as case studies. The results showed high correlation in the frequent use of avoidant actions such as coping strategies,low social support from teachers, high hostility in the self esteem questionnaire and negative attitudes in talk about disabilities.
Job value preferences of students

The thesis deals with value preferences of students regarding their future employment. It focuses on job values, achievement motivation and motivation to work, as well as self -- esteem and financial crisis and its impacts on the Czech Republic. The thesis also includes the results of an empirical research, which I made among students of University of Economics in Prague. The research is focused on job values of students and their personality characteristics (achievement motivation and self -- esteem) that influence the formation of job values. The research also reflects the students' opinions on financial crises and its impact on their future job and career.
