The goal of this thesis is to explore existing solutions of closed and open data sharing, propose options of sharing non-public data, implement selected solution and demonstrate the functionality of the system for sharing closed data. Implementation output consist of a catalog of non-public datasets, web application for administration of non-public datasets, application interface gateway and demonstration application.

Flow measurement in microfluidic systems with recording and sharing of measured values

This paper is focused on flow measurement, microfluidic systems and realization system, which is able to flow measure and share with the possibility of their visualization via web interface. The first part of the work is devoted to the theoretical research, which briefly deals with the theory of flow and other concepts that belong to the flow There are also mentioned principles of flowmeter and their advantages or applications. The second part is devoted to microfluidic system. This section describes the elements that make up the microfluidic system, their capabilities and applications. The last part is devoted to the realization of the measuring system. The implementation includes a design of the measuring system, where the selection of microcotroler and sensor is given. The software solution includes used platforms and examples of algorithmization. At the end, the physical implementation of the whole system and calibration is described.

Tool for Family Multimedia Data Management

This bachelor's thesis deals with a suggestion of a user interface and an implementation of a prototype of a web application, which is aimed to ease sharing multimedia data among the users. In the text are described some of the types of the user interface, ways of web interface formation and an analysis of existing solutions which deals with the same or similar topic. The formation of interface is designated to be used easily and intuitively. The result of the bachelor's thesis is the application which is implemented in PHP programming language using framework Nette, framework Bootstrap and jQuery. Testing and evaluation of the results is done in the end of the thesis.

Anonymity in P2P Networks

Freedom of speech and the right to privacy are maybe the most important elements of a modern society, yet the rights are often violated. This fact was the main reason for writing this thesis covering P2P network models, anonymity, censorship resistance and their use in real P2P networks and publishing systems. We discuss their effectiveness and suitability for specific purposes, but also the security considerations of their use. The second part of this thesis presents the LSPP publishing protocol, which is an library implementation of an anonymous censorship resistant P2P network. Finally, we analyze the proposed protocol and compare it with existing solutions.

Možnosti přístupu k obrazovým datům v rámci projektů ÚBMI ve spolupráci s klinickými pracovišti

Tento článek zkoumá výzvy a možnosti spojené se zpracováním a sdílením obrazových dat v kontextu biomedicíny a počítačem podporované diagnostiky. S rostoucím výpočetním výkonem a využitím strojového učení se metody analýzy obrazů stávají stále efektivnějšími, ale potýkají se s problémy dostupnosti dat a obtížnou interpretovatelností. Autoři diskutují legislativní a etické aspekty ochrany osobních údajů a upozorňují na význam spolupráce mezi akademickými institucemi a klinickými pracovišti. Článek také prezentuje dva aktuální výzkumné projekty ÚBMI v oblasti analýzy obrazů, tj. analýza trombu v CT mozku a kardiovaskulární zobrazování magnetickou rezonancí, ve kterých se aktuálně využívají pokročilé algoritmy strojového učení. Spolupráce mezi ÚBMI a klinickými pracovišti přináší nové možnosti pro zlepšení diagnostiky a léčby pacientů.

Archiving Social Research Data from the Viewpoint of Czech Social Science Data Archive

Czech Social Science Data Archive is now an established research infrastructure within the Czech Republic and also it is a part of the European research infrastructure through CESSDA organization. The presentation will address the opportunities and constraints associated with data archiving and sharing in the social sciences. Emphasis will be placed on used standards (for metadata, keywords) and tools (on-line database solution) and on how these standards and tools help to develop a pan-European system of data services in the social sciences.
