The Hydrophytes of Sandpits
ŠINKO, Jan
This work is a part of thesis. The aim of this work was to map the aquatic plants selected lakes (sandpits) in the territory Třeboň. Mapping was carried out in 2006-2008 and was the location: sandpits Veselské, Halámecké, Cep, Cep II, Tušťské, Hliníř u Ponědrážky, Hluboká u Borovan, Mladošovice, Bor, Spolí, Výhrab, Písník, Záblatí, Záblatí-Ptačí blato, Novosedly, Pístina, Kolence, Dunajovická hora, U Dračice, Hrdlořezy and Ruda.
Diversity of traits of aculeatan hymonopterans in habitats with finely-grained substrate
Wofková, Gabriela ; Tropek, Robert (advisor) ; Šlancarová, Jana (referee)
Natural habitats of aculeate hymenopterans are rapidly decreasing and strictly specialized species are thus going to be endangered or extinct. However, in the last decades the conservation potential of postindustrial sites has been found. There were many endangered and nationally extinct species recorded along with the drift sand specialists. However, one unclear thing remains - on postindustrial sites there were still no recordings of species that have similar biological traits to the species that are colonizing these sites. The main target of my thesis was to find traits which make it possible for the insects to colonize postindustrial sites. A matrix of 79 traits was made to describe aculeate hymenopterans biotope preferences, phenology, morphology, biogeographical area, nest, food and life history strategies. With these traits I describe 351 species systematically collected on twenty-one localities with finely - grained substrate found in Polabi and South Bohemia. These traits were tested with weighted mean abundances on type of substrate (artificial vs. sandy) with GEE analysis and the type of locality (dumping ground of coal combustion, ore and sand sludge vs. sandpits vs. natural sand) with PCoA analysis. A phylogenetic correction was incorporated in both analyzes. My results show that on...
Excursions for primary school pupils in the Veselé pískovny sands
SEMRÁDOVÁ MARTINŮ, Lenka
The aim of this work is to create didactic materials and motivational elements that would be used to explorethe Veselí sandpits. The project is primarily intended for primary school students. The work is dividend into two parts. The first part deals with sandpits in general way. It introduces thein creation, flora and fauna, which occurs on disturbed places. Further this work concretely dedicates the environment of Veselí sandpits. The second part is devoted to educational excursions that are intended for primary school students. Worksheets for excursions are created in form that can be used directly in the sandpits or in the classroom.
Spreading of Bryozoa Pectinatella magnifica in Třeboňsko region
LUKEŠOVÁ, Petra
Pectinatella magnifica is a fresh water invertebrate colonial animal originating from North America which spreading, throughout Europe as well as Asia, has recently reached a characteristics of invasion. Charakter of the colonies, their seasonnal dynamics and other development aspects have been studied at six destinations in South Bohemia (lake Cep, Nový Lipnický pond, Hejtman pond, Nový Kanclíř pond, Vlkov sandpit and Hnevkovice water reservoir). Repeated biomass quantitative collections have been carried out in 10 m transects alongside the shoreline. Also the environmental factors have been found out (temperature, conductivity, water reactions, transparency, trophia, colonies substrate) and charakteristics of individual invaded reservoirs. The list of currently known destinations has been completed with another reservoirs into which the species has spread out.
