This thesis deals with issue of machining difficult-to-machine alloys with milling. The theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of application, composition and mechanical properties of these alloys and difficulties and recommendations during machining. In the practical part the milling of Ti6Al4V–ELI alloy was realized by profile cutter. Machining forces were evaluated in relation with angle of cutter tilt.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of machining of machine components. In the first part there is described the theoretical basis of machining possibilities. This part is followed by a description of machining methods, where the attention is paid to cutting forces in machining, plastic deformations, cutting resistance and bulit up edge formation. The other parts deals with the issue of milling and grinding with focus on practical use. In the last part there is described the production process of joint replacement using modern technologies.
