Comparison of the effects of rain on the old and new rainfall simulator
Banzetová, Diana ; Vrba, Jan (referee) ; Milerski, Rudolf (advisor)
This dissertation is focused to modeling of the rainfall in laboratory conditions by the rainfall simulator invented in VUT Brno. Results of the measuring are compared with measured values of the original rainfall simulator located in VVU VSH VUT in Brno by the Kninicky village in 1976-1980. Dissertation verifies rightness of substituting the natural rain with the rainfall simulator on bare soil in the original location, kinetic energy of the rain drops is substituted with the energy gained from the weight of the drops - the flow. Generally the dissertation determines the possibilities of the rainfall simulator's current location.
Water Management Analysis of Reservoir Storage Capacity Due to Climate Change
Šenková, Monika ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
The aim of this work is a water management solution of the storage volume of the Vlachovice reservoir in the conditions of climate change. Due to the long-term drought and flood period, the Czech Republic decided to build multi-purpose reservoirs. One of them is the multi-purpose water reservoir Vlachovice. The tanks are designed for a certain storage volume, which is calculated from the flow series in a given water profile. Flows on watercourses are conditioned by climatic and geomorphological conditions. Climatic conditions are constantly changing and significantly affect flows. It is difficult to determine the future of water flows. Future flows are generated based on measured values ??and expected climate change using mathematical models. In this work, just these two scenarios of the future of flow series depending on the amount of precipitation and temperature changes are compared.
Vliv vlhkosti půdy na hydrologickou odezvu povodí při různých srážkových úhrnech
TOMANOVÁ, Markéta
This diploma thesis deals with the Influence of soil moisture on hydrological response of a catchment to precipitation. The study was conducted on the sub-basin of Jenínský stream in the monitored vegetation period for the years 2010 - 2013. The characteris-tics such as total precipitation, flow and soil volume moisture at different depths were monitored. The first part of this thesis contains a literature study that mentions soil moisture as one of the factors influencing the hydrological response of river drainage basins to precipitation. In the practical part, the thesis deals with the evaluation of measured precipitation totals and descriptive statistical values of flow and soil moisture at a depth of 30 cm, 60 cm, 90 cm, 150 cm and 200 cm. The other section of the practical part deals with significant precipitation episodes and their impact of rain intensity on water runoff from the basin. The final objective is to evaluate the effect of soil moisture on surface runoff characteristics at different precipitation totals.
Analýza srážko-odtokových vztahů na vybraném povodí
FREJLACHOVÁ, Dagmar
This bachelor is focused on analysis of rainfall-runoff relationships. The theoretical part of the thesis defines water in nature, hydrological balance, the rainfall-runoff process, and characteristics of its parts. Rainfall-runoff events and ways of analysing the relationships between rainfall and runoff are also described. The practical part is focused on analysis of rainfall-runoff relationships on the catchment of Jenínský stream in the hydrological years 2011-2013. Description of the catchment, processing of the rainfall and runoff data, creating of hydrographs and runoff coefficients for each hydrological year and selected rainfall-runoff events are part of the thesis as well.

Artificial drainage systems in the Czech Republic and their impact on catchment water regime
ČERVONYJ, Jakub
In this diploma thesis the issue of drainage system influence on water regime of catchment area was solved. The aim of the thesis was to analyze influence of drainage system on specific catchment area using mathematical, hydrological and statistical methods. In the teoretical part, the thesis describes the issue of drainage (specifically the drainage system of area of the Czech republic) and the influence of drainage system on water regime. In the practical part an analysis of the catchment area of Kopaninský creek and subcatchment areas P6, P52 and P53 was performed. At all of those areas, certains parts are dewatered by subsurface systematic drainage system, those parts are described in detail. The runoff coefficients and specific runoff from each subcatchment areas in different time interval were calculated and observed. Runoff separation and precipitation-runoff situation analysis were performed. The results are evaulated in the chapter Results and Discussion.
Runoff circumstances and changes in river basins of the Czech Republic and abroad
RYŠAVÁ, Radka
This bachelor thesis is oriented towards the drain, its origin, the elements and factors that affect runoff. It is focused on the hydrosphere, the hydrological cycle, and finally focuses on changes in runoff conditions in the Czech Republic and abroad, depending on the climate and the source water levels of rivers. Between sources of water levels of rivers include, eg rainfall, melting snow, subsurface water, melting glacier. Furthermore, this bachelor thesis deals with the bypass ratio and changes in the basin of the Czech Republic and abroad, and is written in the form of a literature review. It defines the basic concepts of the problem and explains in detail the individual components of runoff. Among the ingredients drain we classify surface runoff, subsurface and groundwater runoff. Further it also describes the hydrological cycle, which can be small or large. The water gets to the earth surface in the form of precipitation, for example such as snow or rain. These collisions affect runoff.
