This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a handheld anemometer. The main issues addressed are the ease of operation during use, the shaping for a more secure but ergonomic grip, the coherence of the shape of the anemometer in relation to the propeller and other parts. The design should meet both ergonomic and aesthetic requirements. The overall design of the shaping of the product is simple and functional. The handheld anemometer has a wide range of applications and can be used in other sectors besides sports and recreational activities.

The main goal of this thesis is to create unconventional design using nontraditional material from Matério for surface of the microphone. Important aspect at this type of product is ergonomy. Design aims to create option to change position of hand.

This thesis deals with problems like long working time, watching monitor during scanning, versatility and safety measures from mechanical damage. Ergonomic solution is also very important. This design is based on a simple and functional shaping. Shaping and color solution corresponds with its use in industry. This scanner also can be used in other fields (for example: medical sector, design, archeology, etc.).
