Hviezdoslavova Street Improvement Study

The aim of the batchelor thesis is the study of Hviezdoslavova street in Brno – Slatina. I have proposed 3 variants, which mainly focus on Hviezdoslavova Street and Tilhonova Street. The main purpose of the study is to solve the traffic situation and to achieve a uniform appearance of the whole street and improve many exits from special purpose roads.

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to design Nová Šámalova Street in the former Zbrojovka Brno area. Three variants of the central collector road, including their mutual comparison, are proposed. The main purpose of the design is to meet the need for an urban boulevard due to anticipated construction within the next ten years and its connection to the surrounding road network.

Intersection of highways No II/448 a II/449 by Drahanovice

This thesis deals with a modification of intersections of roads No. II/448 and II/449 in Drahanovice. The current situation is a 4-way intersection and there is an issue of the driver’s uncertainty whether he is on a main road or a side road. Therefore a modification to a roundabout instead of the existing intersection is designed. The thesis also includes a proposal for pedestrian communication.
