v Abstract Title: Case study of physical therapy treatment of a patient after ischemic stroke with right hemiparesis Objective: The aim of my bachelor thesis is to provide a comprehensive theoretical overview of ischemic stroke and to present a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a specific patient with this diagnosis in the special section. Method: This thesis comprises a theoretical part and a special part. The theoretical section focuses on compiling knowledge about ischemic stroke using scholarly literature and current resources. The special part addresses a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a specific patient who has suffered an ischemic stroke. It includes anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis, short term and long term physiotherapeutic plans, daily records of therapies, and final kinesiological analysis, as well as an assessment of the therapeutic outcomes. Results: Based on theoretical foundations, physiotherapeutic care was applied, which led to an improvement in self-sufficiency, increased muscle strength, enhanced stability, greater range of motion, and reduced pain in the shoulder joint. Title: Case study of physical therapy treatment of a patient after ichemic stroke with right hemiparesis Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out theoretical information about the diagnosis and prepared the case study of the patient after ischemic stroke with right hemiparesis. Summary: This bachelor thesis deals with stroke and consists of two parts. The general part is focused on theoretical knowledge, contains a definition and a classification of stroke, anatomy of the blood supply of the brain, epidemiology, clinical symptoms, risk factors, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of stroke including methods of physical therapy used for patients after stroke. The special part contains bachelor thesis methododologic and a case study of physical therapy care of a patient after ischemic stroke with right hemiparesis which includes anamnesis, complete kinesiology analysis, process of treatment and final evaluation. Data for processing the special part were obtained during the clinical practise at rehabilitation department of Regional hospital Kladno from 8.1.2018 do 2.2.2018.
