Reprodukční výkonnost ovcí v ČR
Čudan, František
The aim of this thesis describe how we evaluate fertility and reproduction of sheep in performance testing in Czech republic, include evaluation of new traits of reproduction performance. In evaluation was traits ewe lambing rate, lambs per ewe, lambs per ewe lambing, lambs reared per ewe lambing, as a new trait weighed lambs (all in percents) and additionally lambs growth to one hundred days of life. All reproduction traits and weight of lambs in one hundred days of life have increasing tendency in Czech republic, although they are impacted by year and environment. On the percent of weighed lambs have strongest impact herd production system. The fertility and reproduction performance of sheep in performance testing in Czech republic is on the same level, like in the sheep breeding developed countries.
Vlivy působící na plodnost bahnic plemene valaška.
FREMLOVÁ, Aneta
The aim of this diploma thesis was the analysis of selected factors and their influence on the fertility of ewes in the Wallachian sheep breed. These factors were presented over the age of ewes for fertility, litter size and lamb survival. The second factor was the influence of the sire line on fertility, litter size and lamb survival. For this purpose, a farm in Dlouhá Stropnice was chosen. First the herd was introduced, then statistically described and finally a statistical analysis of selected factors was performed. Based on the achieved results, recommendations for breeders were proposed.
Zhodnocení reprodukční výkonnosti a mateřského chování ovcí plemene zwartbles v ČR
Čudan, František
Submitted thesis aims to assess fertility, reproduction, reproductive performance and maternal behavior of the zwartbles sheep breed. Detected were the most commonly used methods of breeding and, subsequently, fertility indicators used for assessment of reproductive performance such as fertilisation, fertility, the intensity of breeding, the number of newborn lambs, sex ratio, the ratio of singletons, twins and triplets. Childbirth was also monitored with a focus on its course, its level of difficulty and the need for assistance on the part of the breeder. Considered was the maternal behavior in the selected parameters of the zwartbles sheep breed, both sheep divided according to the age, as well as for individual families and blood lines in the herd. Analyses were conducted on the herd of sheep breed zwartbles on the family farm in Mohelno.
Vyhodnocení reprodukce v chovu ovcí clun forest
KLEČÁKOVÁ, Martina
The aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate reproduction indicators (percentage of pregnancy, fertility, intensity, total rearing, reactivity, rearing of lambs born and total lamb mortality), their comparison over the years and the average in the Czech Republic. The influence of the age of the mother on fertility and the proportion of sheep according to the frequency of litters was also evaluated. Monitoring was carried out in breeding sheep clun forest (at 30 ewes) at Studnice farm from 2015 - 2018. In the monitored reproduction indicators, there was a statistically significant effect (P 0,01) only in the fertility of the herd in question for the period 2015 - 2018. This was caused by higher fertility differences in the first two years on average by 10% between selected breeding and average in the Czech Republic . For the past two years, fertility was on average 25% lower than the national average. When assessing the effect of maternal age on fertility, the highest fertility rates were in three-year-old (174%) and four-year-old sheep (168%). The effect on the highest fertility rates was the highest number of lambs born (about 2 lambs per sheep). Since the third year of age fertility has fallen until the fifth year. Then there was a slight increase (the number of born lambs in the sheep (1.5 lambs) increased) and the lowest fertility (133%) was found in seven-year-old and older sheep, when the number of lambs was also decreasing. Based on the above data on the effect of age on fertility, a statistically highly significant effect (P 0,01) was observed in the observed breeding for the years 2015 - 2018.

Problematics of meat sheep breeds
Picurová, Daniela ; Ptáček, Martin (advisor) ; Nohejlová, Lenka (referee)
Bachelor´s degree thesis has been elaborated as a literature review of accessible specialised sources. It dealt with a sum of recent findings concerning the breeding the meat-producing races of the sheep, which is rapidly developing after 1990. Introduction established the structure of sheep races bred in the Czech republic and their classification according to the production performance. The thesis is focused on meat-producing races of the sheep, the most important among them being characterised verbosely. Within the frame of the thesis topic, the performance features were defined. The main part of the thesis dealt with the meat production performance and breed reproduction, which affect the breeding economy. The aim of the thesis was to determine the major factors influencing reproduction and production properties of the breeding material. We have found out, according to specialised literature, that breed, sex, number of lambs per brood and the fattening manner produced the significant effects on the live weight of lambs. The body condition score of mothers had no significant effect in the time of gravidity. The results of the studies indicate that live weight of mothers, age of mothers and lambing season affect significantly the vitality of lambs and their growing disposition consequently the breed economy. Based on the available literature it seems to be an interesting issue early breed ewe lambs, a category that has not been adequately studied. It would therefore be potentially interesting to examine this issue further.
Zhodnocení reprodukce a poporodního chování ovcí v malochovu
Pavlovská, Zuzana
The thesis titled "Evaluation of reproduction and postpartum behavior of sheep in the little sheep farming," deals with the evaluation of basic reproductive performance of sheep and evaluation of postpartum behavior of ewes and lambs. Were monitored herd sheep breed Zwartbles backyard farm in the little sheep farming Laškov. Results herd reproductive performance reporting for 2012 and 2013 were compared with the results of the sheep breed Zwartbles included in the performance monitoring (PM). In 2013 reached monitored herd better results than herds in PM, while in 2012 the results were worse. Only at fertilization percentage values were observed at herd in both years better than sheep in PM. Herd 6 ewes were monitored at the time of embedding in delivery, including behavior during and after delivery. In the context of post-partum behavior was from these 6 ewes monitored their 11 lambs. U monitored ewes were found shorter gestation period than the average gestation period for sheep and ewes in 67% gave birth at night. Length delivery each lamb was variable, but always having the first lamb was longer. Ewes 73% gave birth lying down and her lambs in only 36% started licking the head and nostrils. The newborn lambs prevailed female lamb (64%) and the average weight of lambs was above average. Values relating to getting up and sucking were average, only lambs after complicated delivery was less active than the other lambs. Lambs more preferred right teat at 73% at the first and second intake.
Influence of The Chosen Factors on Fertility in Herd of Sumava Sheep
NOVÁKOVÁ, Iva
The goal of this Diploma thesis was an analysis of the chosen factors and their influence on sheep fertility in the herd of sumava sheep. This factors were presented through the age of sheep, sheep nutrition and stress influence on the sheep fertility. For this purpose it was chosen the sumava sheep farming in herd Michlova Hut. At first this herd was introduced, than statistically described in terms of sheep fertility and in the next part there was analysis of the chosen factors. Based on these results the conclusions and the basic breeder recommendation to breeder community were deduced. The main reason for choice this topic was a growing breeder´s interest in breeder´s economy and various possibilities of the increasing sheep fertility.
