Porovnání vybraných reprodukčních ukazatelů u vídeňských králíků
BRADÁČOVÁ, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation and comparison of selected reproductive parameters in individual breeds of Vienna rabbits. The introduction of the research part is devoted to the origin and domestication of rabbits. The following chapters deal with the anatomy and morphology of the reproductive systems of males and females as well as reproduction itself. Part of the thesis also discusses the genetics of rabbits, and a separate chapter is devoted to the Vienna rabbit. The practical part inc ludes the methodology of the work, which introduces the individual breeds, as well as the comparison and evaluation of selected reproductive parameters between the diffe rent breeds of Vienna rabbits.
Zhodnocení reprodukčních schopností králíků chovaných ve vybraném drobnochovu
Bakošová, Aneta
The bachelor´s thesis deals with evaluation of reproductive indicators of selected breeds of rabbits. In the literary review, origin of domestic rabbit, biological characteristics and reproduction, were described. In the practical part of the work were described two selected breeds of domestic rabbits. It was about czech spot and californian rabbit. Their reproductive properties were evaluated and compared with each other. Compared results of both breed do not differ at all. Californian rabbit had higher number of weaned offsprings and shorter length of pregnancy. Czech spot had better weight gain and longer length of pregnancy.
Chov prasat v podmínkách tropické Afriky
MINDZEME MENDOME, Nino Ninoli Sacre
Pigs breeding in Africa is not very widespread, nor is it historically one of the major sectors of agriculture on this continent. Most farms are scattered on traditional family farms by poor farmers, and are more of a marginal breed of individuals. The bachelor thesis is focused on breeding and production characteristics of pigs, breeds of pigs, breeding work in pig breeding, systems of pig breeding, basics of pig nutrition, housing technology, pig breeding technique and pig health and diseases.
Analýza reprodukčních vlastností plemene zwartbles
DVOŘÁKOVÁ, Jana
The thesis was focused on the reproductive traits of zwartbles breed level evaluation in Novosedly nad Nežárkou, evaluation data were compared with the average values of reproductive traits of zwartbles flocks, included in the performance monitoring of sheep in the Czech Republic, using statistical methods. Simultaneously, there was the effect of factors that might affect reproductive traits of the breed evaluated. 111 ewes were evaluated during the period 2012-2015. The average fertility in the sheeps during the monitoring period amounted to 175,7 % and an average rearing amounted to 88,5 %. There was a significant difference in fertility (p < 0,05) and even highly significant difference in rearing (p < 0,01) among the monitored flock and the flocks in the performance monitoring. The percentage of fertilization and intensity in breeding didn´t achieve satisfactory values, primarily due to the high percentage of futility in sheep in average of 25,5 %. All the reproduction indicators are below the breed average. Lambing number on litter size was evaluated as highly significant (p < 0,01). Ewe age at lambing was assessed as a highly significant influence exerted on fertility (p < 0,01). Influence paternal lines of ewes on their fertility was not statistically demonstrated (p 0,05).
Analysis of production traits in broiler hens and their offspring
FARA, Jiří
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to compare the production traits of parental combination and their progeny of commercial broiler chicken genotypes Cobb 500 and Ross 308. The data was obtained from the International Poultry Testing Station in Ústrašice. Parental test consisted of parent rearing until the age of 154 days, the laying period of 280 days and from four fattening progeny tests (lasting for 35 days or else 42 days). Ross 308 chickens reached the higher live weight compared to Cobb 500 at the end of the rearing period in parental test. The lower feed consumption per head and day had Cobb 500 hybrids during this period. The lower feed consumption per day and per 1 chicken was found in Cobb 500 hybrids in the laying period. The higher eggs number/hen housed was laid by Ross 308 hens. Number of hatched chickens per laying hen was higher in Cobb 500 hens. Higher live weight and lower feed consumption per 1 kilogram gain hybrids was found in Ross 308 at fattening test at 35 days of age. Cockerels of both hybrid combinations reached higher live weight and lower feed consumption per kilogram gain. 2.3 % chickens died during the fattening period in each hybrid combination. The higher carcass yield and breast and thighs muscle weight were determined in Ross 308 hybrids. Ross 308 hybrids achieved higher live weight, only about 14 g at longer fattening test at 42 days of age. Higher live weigh and lower feed consumption was fond out in cockerels in comparison with pullets in both genotypes. 4.6 % Cobb chickens and 5.4 % Ross 308 chickens died during the fattening period (ventilation problems). The difference between genotypes Ross 308 and Cobb 500 was only 0.2 % in carcass yield, 7 g in breast weight and 9 g in thighs weight.
Analysis of milk production and fertility in dairy herd of Holstein cattle
VONA, Barbora
Bachelor thesis analyzes the milk yield and fertility of dairy cows in a herd of Holsteins and the factors that influence these indicators. Reproductive disorders and problems with fertilisation osten occur in breeding of high-yield dairy cows resulting in economic loss in milk production. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate selected impacts on milk production and reproduction at the level of the selected file. Evaluated the effects were genotype and age at first calving. Another significant outcome of this thesis was to assess whether a selected group of Holstein cows meets the requirements of selected breeding goal Holsteins. Analysis of selected data held in the company DZV Nova as, on a farm VKK Petrovice. Selected cows were divided into groups based on genotype and age at first calving. For testing the effect of genotype showed a statistically significant difference (p <0.05) in milk yield between genotypes. Furthermore, a statistically significant difference (p <0.05) between reproductive indicators, both between lactations, and in the case of insemination interval also the overall result. For further tested the effects were not statistically significant differences between the groups, but the resulting data is valuable to the zootechnical.
Analysis the quail performance
RYBNÍČKOVÁ, Karolína
The goal of the bachelor thesis was to assess the quail performance. Production and reproduction characteristics are affected by both genetic and environmental effects. Nutrition, temperature and air humidity, light, air quality and floor space are ranged into them. The laying quail performance of commercial-type Japanese quail is about 300 eggs per year, with an average egg weight of 10 g. The protein content is 13.1% and the fat content is 11.2% in one quail egg. Quail eggs have a very favourable amino acid composition and they contain iron, phosphorus and vitamins A, B1 and B2. The meat has a higher content of myoglobin and darker organic pigments. The meat protein content is 22.9%, the fat content is 1.7?2.9% and the mineral content is 1.1%. The energy value of the breast muscles is 24.57 MJ and of the thigh muscles is 27.15 MJ. The dressing percentage in males is 64.8?65.7 % and in females is 74.8?75.9%.
The level of utility qualities of Chinchilla chinchilla in the chosen breeding
TUROŇOVÁ, Kamila
The main aim of this bachelor work was the analyzing of reproduction of indicators in private breedings. Furthermore, the growth abilities of chinchillas with colour mutations standard, black velvet and milkiness were appraised too. Altogether data were got from 1292 litters of chinchillas wavy color standard mutation from the period 1999 to 2008. Reproduction charakteristics were evaluated in number of born and weaning the youngs, the length of the interim and the size, weaning index of the litter depending on the order of the litter, the year of the monitoring and the membership of the family. The growth abilities of chinchillas colour mutations standard and black velvet were evaluated according to the order of the litters. Data about development of the live weight were made from data of 25 the youngs - standard colour mutation and 23 the youngs - black velvet mutation. Records of weights were taken place in 2009, on the day of the birth of the young and after every week until the young is 49 days. Data were summarized and statistically processed in MS Excel and Statistica Statsoft version 10. The analysis of reproduction characteristics found out on the average 1.82 the youngs born and 1.52 the youngs weaned with the average length of the interim 202.34 days. There were most often two youngs in the litter. The youngs of standard colour mutation evinced bigger average weight than the youngs of colour mutation black velvet.
