Brůža, František ; Mareček, Petr (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
The Bachelor’s project is concerned with the research and the following analysis of information and the period technologies needed for making a replica of the brass hilt of a 10th century sword. The project particularly focuses on the period casting technology. Next, the possibility of making a replica by a 3D scan and 3D print is discussed. The project also includes a comprehensive experiment consisting of casting parts of the hilt using the period technology. The functionality reproducing the hilt by 3D technology up to the printed model stage is also tested.
Replica of a historical machine gun mount
Doležal, Jakub ; Suchý, Jan (referee) ; Maňas, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis and construction of the Královopolská gun mount replica, which were equipped in selected objects of Czechoslovak border fortifications before the World War II. This work is devoted to the analysis of the original documents for the gun mount, CAD model creation, 3D scanning and modification of scanned polygonal mesh of the heavy machine gun vz.24, which was selected as an example of machine guns mounted in the Královopolská gun mount. This is followed by a virtual compatibility check of the gun mount model with the machine gun model. The production model creation is introduced in next part, using technology with the lowest possible production costs. Turn-taking in an institutional discourse
Vaníčková, Klára ; Nekvapil, Jiří (advisor) ; Mrázková, Kamila (referee)
(in English): The thesis focuses on introducing a new topic in a conversation during meetings of Student Council of Faculty of Arts, Charles University (SR). To analyse 19 examples from SR environment, conversation analysis and unmotivated research were used. These methods confirmed the hypothesis - speakers follow the official rules of the organization during meetings. In conversations they proceed systematically; new topics are introduced by a chairman who also allows other speakers to start talking. Introducing of new topics is conditioned by the situation. If a remarkable situational action occurs, it becomes dominant in the conversation; however, after a solution has been reached, speakers return to the previous topic on the base of its re-introduction by a chairman.
