Principles of maintenance of the TPM method

In the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with description of maintenance, historical development of maintenance and characterizes each systems of maintenance. Furthermore it provides a short comparison of two modern maintenance methods of RCM and TPM, with more detailed picture of the TPM method and also mentions the basic supporting methods used to determine the critical areas in production processes and in maintenance. The practical part of the thesis propounds a suitable proposal for TPM implementation in a manufacturing company.

The implementation of RCM in the manufacturing company is the subject of a practical part.

Then explains the concept of reliability and maintenance affect the reliability of the technical system. Further work will focus on the reliability centered maintenance (RCM), whose solution is shown on the equipment for injection molding Ferromatik Milacron K-TEC 250.
