Concrete ceiling of apartment house

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of semi-prefabricated reinforced concrete slab (filigree boards with monolithing) of residential building. Formwork drawings, drawings of the reinforcement and production drawing of the selected slab have been elaborated. During designing, the layout of masonry partitioning is respected. Assessment of the ceiling structure deformation with regard to its integrity is carried out. Furthermore, the comparison of the manual calculation and the finite element calculation is discussed.

The subject of my thesis is the design non-celar two-storey family house with a shop of copy requirements and copycentr. The building is built in a quiet village in the Štíty near Šumperk, in the cadastral Štíty-město. The house is designed for 4 people. Access to the building and premises are wheelchair accessible. The support structures are built of aerated concrete blocks insulated slabs of mineral wool. House is built on a strip of plain concrete. The roof is a truss, saddle. The project is the work of the seminar focused on assessment of structures in terms of thermal and acoustic techniques.
Reinforced concrete structure of an office buildings

The work is designed reinforced concrete slab. This is a typical floor of office building. The slab was calculated using the finite element method, computer program SCIA Engineer. The work includes: calculation using the program SCIA Engineer and its comparison with the simplified method, the design of reinforced slab, drawings form and reinforcement slab.

This thesis solves the design documentation of the house with business premises. Type of business premises is engineer´s office intended for one or two designers. The lot is situated in the urban area of the village Vlčnov. The lot is gently sloping. House is detached house with two floors. The second floor is an attic. The house is accessed from the local road. It is designed for a family of four or five members. The entrance to the house is located in the first floor. The business premises is in the first floor and it is in the back part of the house. The roof is made as gabled roof.

The bachelor thesis is aimed for design of monolithic reinforced concrete slab of residential building, elaboration of shape and drawings of reinforcement of selected structural element. The slab is situated over the first floor. Calculation of internal forces is made by software system SCIA Engineer. Results of internal forces are compared with results of simplified method. Another part of this document is about issues in calculating of locally supported slabs and is done comparison of results by ČSN EN 1992 and ČSN 73 1201. Finally I performed design of concrete double cantilever column.

Assessment of limits of the deformation of a concrete plate using SBRA method

The paper deals with the serviceability assessment of simply supported reinforced concrete slab exposed to uniformly distributed dead load and imposed load, the serviceability kriteria correspond to maximum allowed vertical deflections of the slab. The calculation is performed according to the probabilistic SBRA method.
