Labour commuting in the district of Strakonice: geographical aspects and current trends
VLKOVÁ, Kristýna
This bachelor thesis deals with the study of the labour commuting in the district of Strakonice. Using the data from SLDB 2001 and 2011, the changes of the spatial organization of the commuting and the consequent processes of regionalization are investigated. The methods of the authors L. Sýkora, M. Hampl and M. Halás, respectively employed in the analysis of sociogeographic regionalization of the district of Strakonice are also appropriately assessed and mutually compared. Taking into account these three various methods of sociogeographic regionalization with distinct regionalization criteria allows us to examine geographical aspects of the commuting and its conditioning more in depth. The main part of the thesis concerning the above-mentioned analysis is preceded by the chapters introducing a theoretical description of commuting, the theory of regions and regionalization and the bibliography. The last chapters are devoted to methodology, resource and data processing.
Communiting to work and schools in selected districts of South Bohemian region in 2011 (Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, Jindřichův Hradec)
TICHATZEK, Aleš
The key issue of the submitted bachelor thesis is to analyze the problem of commuting to work and to schools within several selected districts of the South Bohemia region (Český Krumlov, České Budějovice, Jindřichův Hradec) on the basis of the most recent census from 2011. The introductory chapters focus on the purpose and theoretical solutions of the thesis, and on the analysis of expert literature. The following chapters include the methodology of the thesis, the processing of data, hypothesis, and the socio-geographical characterization of those selected districts. The key chapters of the thesis provide information on the interpretation of the results of the analysis of commuting to work and to schools. The issue of commuting to work and to schools is taken into consideration both together and separately. The following chapter focuses on the changing influence of the regional city in the considered area. The final part of the thesis evaluates the results of the thesis and determined hypothesis.
Commuting to work and schools in selected districts in the South Bohemia Region in 2011 (Strakonice, Tabor, Pisek)
JIROUTOVÁ, Nikol

STAŇKOVÁ, Vendula
This work deals with the topic of catchment of urban areas Strakonice, Písek and Tábor. Main goal is analysis of public facilities and consequent making of catchment in all urban areas of monitored area, based on Reilly gravity model. From estabilished data there is created map, on which is based comparing of regionalisation administrative division and catchment monitored area.
Geographical aspects of commuting to work in Jindřichův Hradec district comparison of 1991 and 2011
ŘIMNÁČOVÁ, Šárka

Delimitation of spheres of influence of the České Budějovice: the application of different research methods
HAVLÍK, Václav
The present thesis deals the delimitation of sphere of influence of the České Budějovice applied at a few selected research methods. These methods are migration, commuting to work and school and intensity of public transport links between the municipalities South Bohemian region and the České Budějovice. In the thesis used the latest data from the Czech Statistical Office from the last census. An important part of this work is to detection the intensity of the links between the municipalities South Bohemian region and the upper range of sphere of influence South Bohemian metropolis. Considerable importance will also devoted to evaluate the effect of distance decay for all methods used and combination of these methods.
Industrial regions in the Czech Republic: Geographical organisation and current trends
MAREK, Filip
The diploma thesis deals with industrial regions in Czech Republic. It is focused on delimitating industrial regions of selected centers in years 1991 and 2001. Gravity models and their use in the geographic research on the example of the settlement system of the Vysočina county
BLAŽEK, Jan
This thesis deals with gravitational models which are concerned with interactions between different objects. Thesis applies to these models to the settlement system of Vysočina county. This research discovers the positives and negatives of the models in terms of their application on the particular settlement system. The centres ORP of the Vysočina county are profited for this research. The first part of this thesis deals with interactions between these centres ORP, in light of the theoretical spatial relationships, the real direct bus connections and real commuting to work. In the second part the thesis focuses on the regionalization of the Vysočina county. The regionalization is defined on the theoretical calculations of the Reilly model, as a real gravitational model, a real commuting to work. The requisite data for the analyse were calculated on the basis of the formulas or were taken from the database of the Czech Statistical Office. The maps, which represent the analyzed data, make also part of this thesis.
