Forced migration from Chechnya in a time of Chechen wars

This master thesis deals with a study of forced migration from the Chechen republic during Chechen wars in 1996-2002. The aim of the paper is to contribute to the study of migration strategies of refugees from Chechnya. This qualitative study attempts to grasp the complexity of forced migration process and to depict it from the perspective of refugees. It explores motives and strategies of mobility of the Chechen refugees now living in Russia and Austria and of those refugees, who have returned to Chechnya after the war was over. The impact of this armed conflict on population mobility was examined with a qualitative research of sixteen refugees, who had left Chechnya because of the war. The results of the research show the link between refugee's age and likelihood of return, differences in decision-making of Chechen and Russian refugees, and the strong influence of the social networks on the decision-making and after arrival at destination. The Bachelor thesis focuses on migration in the defined peripheral region of the north-eastern part of the Southern Bohemian region during a 25-year-long period, i.e. 1991 2015. It evaluates the internal migration of villages in the specified region. The theoretical part of the thesis establishes basic concepts, processes, and other important terms related to migration. The next part comprises the specification of the region into which people have migrated (The region of Mladá Vožice) and methodological techniques which were used in the thesis. The final and the most important part is the analysis of the evolution and the current situation of migration in the specified region, the framework evaluation of the population pyramid and main flow of migrants, evaluation of the tendencies of counterurbanization, as well as the movement of the inhabitants overall. Included is an analysis of the results of the field study, which was focused on discovering the reasons for migration into the villages in the defined peripheral region.
Character and Reasons for the migration of the population in the peripheral northwestern part of South Bohemia

The thesis is concerned with migratory movements in a defined peripheral regions in the northwestern part of South Bohemia in the period 1991-2015. Thesis also evaluates development of internal migration of rural communities in the specific region. The thesis defines the basic concepts, processes, and other important terms related to migration. The following chapter deals with the delimitation of migration region and describes methodological procedures which were used in the thesis. The main part is the third chapter, which describes the development and characterizes migration in a defined region, the population movement and counterurbanization trends. It also includes an analysis of fieldwork, which is focused on finding the reasons for moving inhabitants to selected municipalities in the peripheral area.
The influence of the immigration and the integration policy on the living conditions of third-country nationals living in the Czech Republic

The work deals with the impact of immigration and integration policies on the living conditions of third-country nationals in the country. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines related terms and types of migration. Further describes the causes and effects of migration in the economic, social and demographic. This work also introduces the current migration theories. The work also reflects the integration and integration policy of the state to receive and foreigners living in the Czech Republic. The thesis introduces the living conditions of foreigners living in the Czech Republic, with their position in the labor market, with their terms of health and social security. The work is also given view of immigration and immigration policy, Christian social ethics. The practical part of the thesis research by talking to strangers, employees of the state administration and employers who employ foreigners and thus actively contribute to the successful integration of foreigners into Czech society, to verify the facts mentioned in the theoretical part, the search for the causes of these facts, respectively. possible solutions.
