MOKRÁ, Alžběta
St. Nicholas Church in Mikulovice near Klášterec nad Ohří is situated between Kadaň and Klášterec nad Ohří in the territory of a former village, which was turned into a ghost town by the end of 1980s. This Bachelor's thesis examines the construction history of the church, focusing on its medieval (early gothic) phase. It analyses the architecture of the church and attempts to answer the questions connected with its origin. Special emphasis is placed on defining the position of the church in the local context, including origins of other village churches in the Krušné hory and Podkrušnohoří area and their social and historical aspects.
