Properties and the Use of Metal Foams
Křivánek, Robin ; Liškutín, Petr (referee) ; Němec, Karel (advisor)
In this thesis are summarized the findings of metal foams, with prevailing constraints on aluminum foam, because in them hides the greatest potential. The first part is described the production of porous materials, especially the way of floam production by thermal decomposition of floaming agent and melt gas injection. There are also written stress tests to gain a deeper knowledge of their properties, but also the latest exploring methods of foams, such as using a radioscopiy and CT scanner from which then creates a voxel model of foam. They are summarized here the basic ways of processing. Finally we must mention the possibility of using these materials with a focus on commercially produced foams Alporas® and Duocel®. Mass using foams mainly prevents high production costs and in some cases difficult reproducibility of properties.
Modern trends in radiographic procedures and methods in defectoscopy
Skřivánková, Vendula ; Vlašic, František (referee) ; Juliš, Martin (advisor)
Presented thesis deals with modern trends and techniques in radiographic methods of crack detection which are recently used in engineering practice. In the first part, conventional (analogue) radiography principles based on creating a visible image of tested object to radiographic film are discussed. The next part is aimed to the digital radiography and radioscopy. To digitize existing X-ray film images, application of storage phosphor plates (CR), flat panels (DR) and computed tomography (CT).
Modern diagnostic methods use in defectoscopy
Vítámvás, Zdeněk ; Stránský, Lubomír (referee) ; Juliš, Martin (advisor)
Nowadays non-destructive testing offers various ways to detection defects in material. By selecting of suitable method or suitable combination of tests we can locate the defect and determine size of defect with sufficient accuracy. For higher probability of detect defects and for easier operation and evaluation are still evolve new ways of inspection. There are summarizes both ordinarily and modern methods using in defectoscopy in this work. There are describe its principles, courses of testing, suitability of use and there are drop next general information.

Filtration in digital radiology
SVITÁKOVÁ, Eva
Filtration in digital radiology The bachelor´s degree work especially deals with importance of filtration in the resulting quality of an X-ray image. It describes the creation, properties and interactions of X-rays with mass, creation of an X-ray image, and parameters and factors that influence its quality. The main part of the degree work involves the monitoring of changes in the quality of an X-ray image while using a filter-type equalizer and under the conditions of measuring with a homogeneous phantom; further, under the same conditions while measuring with an anthropomorphous phantom, and also the comparing of quality of an image of several groups of patients while using a filter and without using a filter. The outcome of the degree work is a tabular representation of the measured and processed values and their evaluation.
