Frame of the elevator cabin

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design of the elevator frame, its strength calculation and functional calculation of the elevator system with a load capacity of 600 kg. It was necessary to determine the use of the elevator, the number of people carried and the type of drive that use elevator belts instead of ropes. The lift is designed for 6 people and installed in a four-storey residential building with traction drive with a 2:1 roping and a rated speed of 1 m·s-1. The frame structure was modelled in Autodesk Inventor, using C and square sections. Safety calculations were performed according to ČSN EN 81-20 and ČSN EN 81-50.

This diploma thesis deals with design of a frame of a lift, whose roading capacity is 400 kg (5 people) and it olso deals with calculation of maximum distance between armatures of quides. Nominal speed is 1 m.s -1. This diploma thesis also includes final element analysis of the frame. The frame structure is analysed by software I – DEAS.
