Creation and evaluation of Psycho-training programme on base of yoga techniques for endurance runners.
RAŠKOVÁ, Martina
I would like to write my Bachelor Thesis about the development and evaluation of the psycho-training program, based on yoga techniques for endurance runners. The participants of the program consist of 8 male runners and 2 female runners form 26 to 42 years old. The runners group is focused on long-distance runners. All of the runners passed the entrance psychological tests before start of the program. The psychological training program was running for 3 month and consists of 12 lessons. Every lesson takes 90 minutes. The runners filled the outcome tests after the program. I used following methods: Self-perception scale POP (VÁLKOVÁ, 1995), Method of unfinished sentences (VÁLKOVÁ, 1995), POMS ? Profile of Mood States (Czech version MAN, STUCHLÍKOVÁ, HAGTVET, 2005), Free notice (SKALKOVÁ, 1983). The acquired data confirmed that the psychological training brings positive impact on psychological resistance of the participants during the longtime stress. It is useful for improving of concentration, relaxation of muscle pressure after performance, better self-conscious and higher stamina. On summary we can state that regular yoga training brings all-purpose positive impact on human being.
