Joint custody - its assumptions, strengths and potential weaknesses in the light of psychology

This bachelor thesis deals with joint custody in relation to its assumptions, strengths and potential weaknesses in the light of psychology. The theoretical part provides insight into the context of the form of contemporary family, with the issue of divorce and its impact on all involved individuals and with different forms of parenting. The legislative grounding of post divorce child care and its possible forms in the Czech legal order is also covered. The psychological assumptions of joint custody of both the parents and the child are emphasized to a great extent. On the basis of these findings are drawn possible strengths and weaknesses of joint custody. Last but not least are presented different approaches to joint custody among a few selected countries. The final part of this thesis is designed as qualitative research project focusing on the evaluation of joint custody from the perspective of individuals who have personal experience with this post-divorce arrangement. Child with Diabetes mellitus in Kindergarten

This bachelor thesis deals with inclusion specialty of diabetic child to day-care centre. It is about the case study of the boy with diagnosis Diabetes mellitus of 1. type on insulin pump. The theoretical part is about illness Diabetes mellitus of 1. type, its symptoms, therapy and complications. The therapy way by insulin pump is described more in detail. The theoretical part contains the chapters regarding the psychological impacts to ill person and its family, the need to respect of the regime precautions and the legislative conditions of the sick child integration to the day-care centre. The practical part consists of a qualitative survey, which represents the boy's casuistry with diabetes. The practical part also includes an interview with the boy, his mother and a teacher at the day-care centre. Further the practical part consists of activities, which can help the pedagogues to incorporate a disadvantaged child such as this boy to the day-care group. From the findings it is clear that an insulation pump does not have any underlying influence on day to day activities in day-care centre however it makes it easier for the family and the unwell child.
Dangers of cyberbullying from a child's perspective

This master's thesis deals with issue of cyberbullying. It reports comprehensive view of the phenomen, whose severity has an increasing tendency, in particular thanks to continuous technical progress and development in the field of information and communication technologies. It characterizes particular tools, describes a specific form the resulting risks, which can develop through using the Internet and other digital media. It deals with the effects of cyberbullying to the psychic of the adolescents and brings a comprehensive view and experiences of children and adolescents with this issue. It focuses on the differences in the perception of cyberbullying by children and adults and on the role of social worker in the process of prevention and solution of cyberbullying.
Unemployment and its psychological-social effects in different stages of life

The Bachelor Thesis deals with the issue of the psychological and social impacts of unemployment on human life. Its main objective is to demonstrate these negative impacts, to reveal how unemployment affects everyday life of adult people and to find essential differences as for the understanding of unemployment in three phases of adulthood. In the end, the work illustrates what difficulties people of a different age group have to encounter. The theoretical part focuses on the current situation of the aforesaid issue. The attention is concentrated on the following chapters: the importance of work to human nature, labour market, unemployment and characteristics of each period of adulthood. This part is concluded by the detailed description of psychological and social impacts of human life. In order to accomplish the objectives of this thesis, quantitative research in form of non-standardized interview was executed. The respondents from the following age groups, young people from 18 to 26 years, middle aged people from 30 to 45 years and people from 45 to 60 years, were asked according to the previously set criteria. The part dedicated to research describes the personal experiences of individual unemployed respondents. The latter are divided into three groups which are summarized in the end of this research and later analysed in the chapter dedicated to the discussion. The results based on this research proved the existence of the majority of psychological and social impacts stated in the theoretic part. They confirmed the fact that the older generation struggles with the problem of unemployment more than younger generations. The basic difference in how to understand unemployment was proved on a different perception of the aforementioned impacts. This problem becomes more serious depending on the age, as well as the difference of psychological needs which get worse with regard to the older generation. The acquired results of this Bachelor Thesis should further serve in order to extend psychological and social care of unemployed people registered at the Employment Agencies. The example is illustrated on the multidisciplinary team providing primary prevention and comprehensive care of unemployed people.
