2 TITLE: Health Protection of Students at the Profesional Training Place of Work AUTHOR: Jiřina Ottová Department of education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. J. Hanušová, Ph.D. ABSTRACT The thesis is focused on training students of the branch Exotic Animals Keeper regarding the course and organization of the professional training. The practical part is focused on safety and health protection at work in vocational training in this field. It is concerned with examples of risks at some workplaces in the zoo that the students can meet and cope with and examples of accidents and injuries that really occurred in the past. In the discussion there are recommenda- tions how to avoid possible injuries, with put the accent on importance of detailed and ongoing safety training so that students accept the safety rules automatically and these became an integral part of their professional growing and activities in the future.
