The Capital Cost Repayment Period of the Reconstruction of Multiple-function building
Kučma, Ľubomír ; Žákovič, Miloslav (referee) ; Krejza, Zdeněk (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis „The Capital Cost Repayment Period of the Reconstruction of Multiple-function building“ deals with the reality of investing financial resources into improvement of conditions for use of multifunctional buliding. In the theoretical part it deals with specification of basic terms from the domain of building lifespan, calculation of financial costs and investment decision-making. In the practical part it judges contract cost of reconstruction, lowering the costs of heating by technical changes of construction and also return of investment in different forms.
Study of energy consumption reduction of block of flats
Svoboda, Lukáš ; Šteffek, Libor (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The goal of the thesis is firstly to get all the information about the initial state of solved block of flats, which is located on the street Merhautova 76/954 in Brno – Černá pole, in terms of constructions, energy consumption and initial state of heating system. In the second part of the thesis, where are discussed the possibilities of reduction of energy consumption, variant drafts of reduction of energy consumption and their financial costs and the choice of optimal variant. Third part deals with assement of solved block of flats in terms of sustainable built environment by using tool to rate buildings in terms of sustainable built environment - SBToolCZ, evaluation of possibility to use renewables. In the end are written summaries and recommendations.
Heat recovery
Dužík, Vojtěch ; Rubinová, Olga (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to theoretically, practically and experimentally explore different ways of waste heat utilization in the building industry. The work is divided into three basic passages. In the first part I analyze the theoretical nature of the various physical processes in recovery and is there a practical use. More emphasis is placed on heat recovery from wastewater, as I am using this way of recuperation in other parts of this diploma thesis. In the second point, I apply the use of heat from waste water when designing a technical solu-tion for the reconstruction of the heating system of the clinic. The design is solved in two variants. The first suggested location lokali- them, recuperative, shower exchanger operation rehabilitation, bath and massage. In the second variant, central recovery is envisaged using a heat exchanger in the accumulator well and water-water heat pump. Based on the technical and economic evaluation, the first option was selected. The second variant is ineffective and remains only in the case study. In the last section, I experimentally investigate the thermal efficiency and the relative savings of the heat exchanger, which is designed in the first variant of the second part. Measurement, processing of results and evaluation I made for laboratory conditions and for real conditions with the showering person. Finally, I appreciate the eco-nomic benefits of this facility.
Possibilities of reducing the energy demand of a family house within the NZÚ program
Milionová, Kateřina ; Aigel, Petr (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the energy and financial savings, which are key interests of today's society and closely linked to the measures described in this thesis. The theoretical part provides detailed explanations of the key concepts related to the topic. Subsequently, attention is given to improving the thermal-technical properties of houses and identifying technological procedures for reducing the energy demands of buildings. An important part of the theoretical part is also a description of the subsidy programme called „New Green Savings“. In the practical part of the thesis, the operating costs of the house and the costs of implementing three possible insulation measures for the envelope masonry and the window and door filling in order to improve the thermal technical properties of the building are quantified. Energy performance certificates (PENB) are prepared for both the current state of the house and one of the proposed variant. The work also includes a quantification of the subsidies that can be obtained after the implementation of the measures and a subsequent analysis that could lead to an increase in the subsidy amounts. Finally, the payback period of all investments made is calculated.
