Sheepfarm

The bachelor thesis was developed as a project for building construction based on the studio work of 3rd semester. Sheep farm building is a komplex of free interconnected buildings, divided according to their functions (accomodation, restaurant, production, sheepfold). The complex of buildings is a designed from ecological materials (wooden building) due to its location and purpose. The base of architectural and constructional design is simplicity, functionality and practicality.
Apartment Building

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the constructions, new apartment building. The apartment building is designed in a place called Pole za pivovarem a built-up area of Vysoké Mýto. The building is designed as a free-standing with four above-ground floors, without a basement, with flat green roof. First floor there are six garages, storages and HVAC facilities. Other floor contain two, 4+kk apartment units eache. Every apartment has private loggia, storage space, a garage with space for one car and one outdoor parking place. Individual floors are conected by a protected escape route with a staircase and an elevator. The walls are designed as ceramic blocks with integrated heat insulation. Floor structures are designed as prestressed concrete panels. The building is based on a reinforced concrete foundation slab due to poor parametres of the subsoil.
Reconstruction of Restaurant with Housing Facilities Extension

Diploma thesis "Reconstruction of Restaurant with Housing Facilities Extension" is processed in the form of project documentation for building construction according to the applicable regulations (Act No. 183/2006 Coll., On Zoning and Building Regulations, including subsequent amendments). The project deals with the reconstruction of the existing restaurant building in the village Lísek, No. 89. The building is located on plot No. 49 in the cadastral Lhota u Lisku. Floor plan of the existing building is in rectangular shape with almost the unused basement and a deck above. The 1st underground floor is currently used only technical room and garage. In the 1st floor there is the sales area of restaurant, large kitchen and rooms for staff. Existing structures do not show signs of major damage. Reconstruction is not due to the technical condition of the building, but due to operationally unsatisfactory disposition and investor requiring to create an accommodation capacity. The requirement was to build new rooms to accommodate 24 persons. The supporting structural system of the 2nd floor is designed of ceramic bricks and 3rd floor due to the resistance of existing constructions is newly designed as wooden sandwich. The window openings are fitted with a six-chamber windows with triple insulation. Horizontally extension of the existing building corresponds to the current object. The roof of the building is gabled with dormers lighting the rooms in the 3rd floor. The building is designed so that even after the reconstruction match an existing installation. Part of building construction works is also landscaping. Due to the partial change in purpose of the building was necessary to design a suitable parking space with adequate capacity.
Guesthouse

The subject of this master ‘s thesis is the elaboration of project documentation for the construction of a new guesthouse. The building of guesthouse is designed in the locality of Karlov in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou on the edge of the built-up area of the village. The building is designed with two above-ground floors. On the ground floor there is a restaurant including facilities, the facilities of the guesthouse and one wheelchair accessible room. On the second floor there are five single rooms and two double rooms. Movement between floors is ensured by a staircase, which is designed as a non-protected escape route. The structural system is designed as a wall made of ceramic blocks with integrated thermal insulation, the floor structure is designed as reinforced concrete monolithic slabs. The roofing is designed as a gable roof with a purlin truss with sheet metal covering. The building will be heated using a system of heat pumps with ground collectors, which will be connected to a floor heating system supplemented by heating ladders in the bathrooms of the rooms. The pump system will be connected to water storage tanks with the possibility of reheating. The ventilation is designed as forced using air-conditioning units, one for the restaurant premises and the other for part of the guesthouse.
