Use of Grant Funds for the Realization of the Construction Project

This master's thesis describes an issue of preparation and evaluation of investment projects which are co-financed by EU funds. A practical example of the specific investment project is used to demonstrate a usefulness of co-financing by these funds. This investment project is processed as a case study which includes both financial and economic evaluation of the project. This evaluation also includes assessment of effectiveness and efficiency of this investment project.
Influence of Grant on Construction in the Czech Republic

The aim of the work is to chart grant used for the construction sector and subsequently analyze the impact of the subsidies on the development of the construction output in the Czech Republic. In the first part is defined by the distribution of construction output and describes the development of the construction industry, subsequently described subsidies used in the Czech Republic. The second part is divided into two sections, the first on is dedicated to the processed questionnaire and its output. The second section is analytical. The questionnaire is focused on the use of subsidies in the Czech Republic. The analytical part is focused on creating an evolution of subsidies on construction aktivity for a certain period.
Financing of Public Building Order from the Aspect of Supplier

Financing of construction contracts is one of the most important phases, where aim of every construction company, is to achieve the highest profit, thus ensuring the business. To the financing of construction contracts are used the own and mostly foreign sources. The procurement is linked with using subsidies from the European Union. In the theoretical part of this thesis there are described the basic concepts relating to public contracts pursuant to Act No. 137/2006 Sb. and financing, both in terms of suppliers and contracting authorities and the actual course of implementation. The practical part deals with the financing of specific public construction contract.

First part deals with the programming period 2014–2020, next part is about description of the Structural Funds and operational programs. The end of theoretical part is focused on describing territorial integrated investments. In practical part you can find evaluation of preparation of implementation of technical structure selected in municipalities of Tišnov and Brno.

This diploma thesis deals with forthcoming integrated instruments designed for 2014-2020 programming period and also with evaluation of the Integrated city development plan operation, as an integrated instrument used in 2007-2013 programming period. In theoretical part author focuses on basic prerequisites for using new integrated instru-ments, especially on the upcoming instrument Integrated territory development plan, as well as on major differences compared to the past programming period. In practical part of this thesis were determined methodical recommendations for the Integrated territory development plan, which are based on knowledge of the Integrated city development plan project processing analysis, so the proper and effective using of the European structural and investment funds could be assured in 2014-2020 programming period.
The causes of insufficient use of EU funds in Slovakia during the 2007-2013 programming period

The presented thesis The causes of insufficient use of EU funds in Slovakia during the 2007- 2013 programming period addresses a system of utilisation of the EU funds in Slovakia which were provided by the European Union's Cohesion Policy in 2007-2013 programming period. The period is the first Cohesion Policy's programming period that could be fully benefited by Slovakia, and although Slovakia was economically highly evaluated even with regards to the economic crisis, at the end of the period the exceptional prolongation of the n+2 rule was demanded, and eventually approved. Therefore, the aim of the thesis is to find and explore possible causes of the lack of benefit of the EU funds that lead to obtaining the exception. The first part of the thesis analyses the theory of regional policy which provides multiple possible alternative hypotheses that answers to the research question. These potential answers constitute the chapters in the second part of the thesis: the responsibility of the utilisation on the regional level, the problems in settings and functioning of the bodies on national level, the external factors impact, and finally the rules posed by the EU. Legal regulation of European programs in the programming period 2014 - 2020

1 Summary This thesis deals with European programs and their legislation. Author especially characterizes the programming period 2014 - 2020 in comparison with the programming period 2007 - 2013. In the first part of the thesis the author defines the fundamental institutions of the European programs. This is especially the definition of economic, social and territorial cohesion as one of the most important policies of the European Union, as well as the definition of the programming period as a seven-year cycle, during which there is a drawing funds from the European Union. On these fundamental concepts continues to define European structural and investment funds, serving as a financial tool for drawing funds from the European Union, the operational programs and priority axes, the Czech Republic for a particular programming period determined. This is all within the context of the budgetary policy of the Czech Republic together with the definition of legislation at both national and European level. The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of drawing funds from European Union in village Jiříkovice. The first part describes theoretical knowledge about the municipality and drawing subsidies from EU funds. The second part deals with the analysis of subsidies in village Jiříkovice including past and current programming period with the evaluation of the success in already implemented projects. Based on a structured interview with the mayor of the municipality, analysis of the external and internal environment and quantitative research is proposed recommendation including grant title for further development of the municipality in the current programming period 2014-2020.
