Communication strategy of nonprofit organisation UNICEF on social networks

This bachelor thesis Communication Strategy of nonprofit organisation UNICEF on social network focuses on the topic of social networks in the nonprofit sector. Specifically, the communication strategy of nonprofit organization UNICEF on the social network Facebook. The work is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part deals with the concepts of marketing environment, new media and social networks. The paper also briefly describes the principles of creating communication strategies, Web 2.0 technologies and the characteristics of the communication model many-to-many. In this part are generally characterized types of non-profit organizations, their selection of legal forms and interest groups. The analytical part is my own research of the social network in the selected period. Within the analysis are analysed posts and using modern tools, especially hyperlinks and hashtags in them. The aim is to determine, among other things, how are these tools within the organization's communication strategy used. Using content analysis are observed other additional overall characteristics of the communication strategy of the organization.
The Change of the Image of Photojournalism in Digital Era

We will discuss here the issue of manipulation in the digital era of photojournalism. At first we will describe the relation between photography and its referent inculding its ability to represent the reality. Depicting the contrast between analogue and digital photography we will point out the independent position of digital photography from its referent, which is creating better possibilities for manipulation and decreasing the credibility of photography. Then we will analyze the text The Dusk of Photojournalism? that is reflecting these perspective and offering the solution increasing the position of the relation between photography and its referent. By contrast we will analyze the text called Photojournalism is dead, long live photojournalism. Why digitization can increase the credibility of journalistic photography? which considers this perspective as obsolete and offers us the new perspective of the relation between photography and its viewers, that could increase the credibility of photography in photojournalism. According to these two major perspectives we will point out whether it is possible to consider this option of photography - viewers relation as a relevant alternative. Comics Rychlé šípy in Mladý hlasatel and active audience

Diploma thesis "Readers of Rychlé šípy comics and Mladý hlasatel reader's clubs as an active audience" deals with a confrontation of modern theories of the active audience and reconstruction of active fans of comics Rychlé šípy which was published in th Mladý hlasatel magazine. Theoretical part of this paper characterize this magazine for children and its time context. I focused on a development of passive and active audience concepts. There are also introduced modern approaches to active audiences like produsage, collective intelligence and transmedia storytelling which are compared in the practical part of this work with the reconstructed activity of Mladý hlasatel readers. The target is to find the common features of this moderrn approaches in their activity. I also described the audience of the Mladý hlasatel in details and its types of activity. The very last part of this thesis is dedicated to Henry Jenkins' "fandom" as it was described in his piece Textual Poachers. I was able to find there many of the similar features of Jenkins' fan and fan of Rychlé šípy, although the Jenkins' book was published in 1992 and Mladý hlasatel in the thirties of twentieth century.
