The master's thesis deals with possible adjustments in the company's inventory replenishment strategy, which are in accordance with the analyzed factors of the external and internal environment of the company and which respond to the problems arising in the input logistics processes in which this strategy is implemented. The proposed strategy adjustments bring a new perspective on inventory management through inventory optimization and categorization according to differentiated inventory management approach, even in relation to inventories that are subject to deterioration.

Potential changes should be aimed to release capacity of the monitored team of the company and optimize their processes and related capacity during busy season and also from the long term perspective. The company set the conditions for potential changes by keeping current standards about quality of products and services and keeping current rules for client communication. Additionally company expects decreasing of personal costs related to inquired services.

My diploma thesis is focused on processes of CS Cargo Company. Theoretical part is concentrated on Logistic, process management, process mapping and lean management. Practical part is based on knowledge contained in theoretical part. Primary goal of the thesis is innovation of current process map and description of processes. Subsequently selected process is necessary to analyze, modify and outline measurement's possibilities of its performance. Sophisticated management system requires precise identification of processes. Especially company's processes are the ones which have significant influence on overall quality of CS Cargo Company's products (services).
Application of process approach used as the tool for quality management in a selected company

This thesis is focused on the example of process approach used as the tool for quality management in a real company. The aim of this paper is to get readers acquaint with quality control management eight principles from the ISO/IEC 9001 perspective. The thesis then elaborates the practical site of process management approach. The paper describes process management evolution stages, its benefits, there are introduced specific types of modelling methods and ways for process performance measurement. The implementation of process approach is then shown on practical example. The thesis's practical part provides process charts for key organization processes drafted according to the one selected modelling method, descriptions for such processes, suggestions for change aiming to process optimisation and finally also proposes measurable process performance indicators.
