Abstract: This thesis identifies and describes the approach and objectives set in the area of drug prevention in primary school. It characterizes preventive programs and methods used by individual teachers and indicates another possible strategies in this area. It describes the diversity of approaches to the prevention of substance used in two different regions is described and the main reasons for these differences are discussed. The differences are described and explained in the practical part of the thesis. Finally, the possible ways how to enrich and improve the quality of primary prevention programs in primary schools are listed.
