The desigm of the soil protection maesures in the small watershed

This diploma thesis is about water erosion. There are types of water erosion, consequences and ways how to reduce erosion. The second part describes and claculates soil loss in an area of Zasova and Zubri. For calculation is used programme ArcGis. Based on the resoults are suggested two ways of erosion kontrol measures. Their efficiency is proved in programme ArcGis and the resoults are compared.

My diploma thesis is focused on project of water management measure which should intercept torrential water endangering municipality Starovice. In diploma thesis I assess the degree of erosion washes of soil on the solving land. Intensity of soil ablation of affected land is evaluated by Wischmeier-Smith method. Based on the result of long-term soil lost and gathered materials are designed erosion control and water management measures. Graphic part of the thesis contains cartograms with an assessment rate of erosion threat to the investigated area. As part of thesis maps were created using ArcGIS. The essence of the work are drawings situations, longitudinal profiles, sample diagonal incisions of the intercepting ditch were created in Bentley PowerCivil.

This bachelor thesis is in the introduction focused on the evalutation of the current erosion and runoff conditions in the cadastral area of Zádolí u Vysokého Mýta and in the cadastral area Střihanov. The analysis of current erosion and runoff conditions is carried with the use of programs ArcGIS, USLE2D and DesQ–MaxQ. The following is a design of erosion and flood control measures with the main aim of protecting the village Zádolí–Střihanov. Then the design technical measures are dimensioned for the specified design flows. In conclusion of the thesis is evaluated the efficiency of the design protective measures and the average soil loss and runoff quantities are compared before and after the design of the protective measures.

Master´s thesis intends to establish the degree of erosion hazard in the given area using ArcGIS and based on the evaluation suggest flood measures. The work contains a description and photographs of the site address, general treatises erosion, the distribution of erosion, formation of erosion, erosion rate calculation faktorek threat and that it affect erosion control measures - water erosion (organizational, cultural and technical), the method used and a description of the software ArcGIS. This thesis describes how to determine the degree of erosion risk using software used. Based on the results obtained, proposal of erosion control measures on the most vulnerable places.

Based on the result of long-term soil lost and gathered materials and information three options of erosion control are suggested. Thereafter these options are compared on the basis of efficiency and the most suitable and the most effective option is selected. Also parameters of intercepting ditch are recommended and it is projected for capacity of direct water runoff from slopes above the ditch. As part of thesis maps were created using ArcGIS program and sample diagonal incisions of the intercepting ditch were created in AutoCad program.

This master’s thesis is in introduction focused on the detailed characteristics and analysis in the cadastral area of Sivice. Erosion conditions are determined with using programs ArcGIS and USLE2D. Runoff conditions are evaluated by the method CN curve with using programs the ArcGIS and DesQ–MaxQ. After the analysis follows a design of erosion and flood control measures, the purpose of which is protection of the intravillan village of Sivice from torrential floods and protection agricultural land from water erosion. After the drawing design, biotechnical and technical measures are dimensioned for the design flow rates specified in the model DesQ–MaxQ. A detailed description belongs to all the protective measures. In conclusion of the thesis is evaluated the efficiency of the design protective measures and the average soil loss and runoff quantities are compared before and after the design of the protective measures.
