[Unpublished master's thesis]. Charles University. Abstract This thesis is concerned with the core question of how to promote sustainable stability and peace through interventions in Mali. To limit the scope, the actors focused on are limited to the UN and EU. To answer the question, the learnings and insights form the intervention in Afghanistan are elaborated and applied to Mali to improve future intervention design. Message of magic fairy tales for contemporary children
KONVALINKOVÁ, Hana
The work focuses on how children are introduced to magical fairy tales. It examines what message children take from such fairy tales and how useful the tales are to them. The theoretical part deals with a fable as a unique literary genre and analyses its deeper division. The work captures the emergence of fairy tales associated with previously negative concept and furthermore the ways in which we can introduce children to a fairy tale. The authors analyse whether a fairy tale has a deeper meaning and a psychological effect on a child. The practical part consists of a research, conducted in the form of interviews, the aim of which is to find out how children understand fairy tales if they are read to them and which considers several issues. Children are asked questions in a way they understand so that they can answer them accurately. During the interviews, children share their observations, impressions and feelings they experienced while listening to the fairy tale. In another part of the research, children are asked to imagine and draw themselves as one of the characters, making it possible to carry out a comparison and to answer one of the questions: "Which of the characters in the fairy tale would you like to be?" The work summarizes the world of magic as seen through the eyes of a child, as well as the attitude which the child has in respect to these tales.
