Low-Energy Timber Detached House
Král, Jakub ; Hučík, Michal (referee) ; Králová, Zuzana (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis is a project of new low-energy detached house with garage, two-floor house without cellar. The building is covered with flat green roof. The structural system is composed of timber I-joists Steico. Detached house consists of one housing unit of category 5+1.
The design of ETICS using insulation core made of aerated concrete
Machala, David ; Zach,, Jiří (referee) ; Drochytka, Rostislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with theoretical suggestions of contact self-supporting insulation system with an insulating core made of porous concrete. The text prepared knowledge about ETICS system, the properties of porous concrete are thoroughly described, including the history and the most often used technology for production of porous concrete. The conclusion is made by comparison of economical and thermal insulation criteria using optimizing calculation and the applicability criteria of proposed ETICS are stated.
Reactive compounding of polymer blends PP/PS
Pukančíková, Andrea ; Žídek, Jan (referee) ; Kučera, František (advisor)
Method of reaction extrusion was prepared copolymer PP-g-PS. This copolymer was precipitate for correct homopolymer PS. Samples was from and so after precipitating characterized by infrared spectroscopy.
The Regeneration of a Residential House in Ivančice - The Cladding of a Building
Stuchlík, Vladislav ; Šimáčková, Martina (referee) ; Novotný, Michal (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is offering solution of a technological stage of regeneration a residential building in Ivančice. The thesis includes replacing balconies for loggia, flat roof with polystyrene insulation and insulation cladding contact system from the company Baumit using polystyrene and mineral wool.
Energy absorption of cellular foams in high strain rate compression test
Králík, V. ; Němeček, J. ; Jíra, A. ; Fíla, Tomáš ; Zlámal, P.
Aluminum foams are structural materials with excellent energy absorption capacity jointed with very low specific weight and high stiffness. Products of aluminum foams are used in a wide range of structural and functional applications (e.g. as a part of composite protection elements) due to its attractive properties. Full characterization of deformation behaviour under high-strain rate loading is required for designing these applications. The aim of this study is to compare stress-strain behaviour and energy absorption of the aluminium foam structure with conventional energy absorbing materials based on polystyrene and extruded polystyrene commonly used as protective elements. The compressive deformation behaviour of the materials was assessed under impact loading conditions using a drop tower experimental device.
Investigation of deformation behaviour of aluminium foam under high-strain rate loading and comparison with conventional energy absorbing material
Zlámal, P. ; Fíla, Tomáš ; Jiroušek, O. ; Králík, V.
The aim of this study is proper description of stress-strain behaviour of the metal foam structure Alporas under high-strain rate loading. Stress-strain response of Alporas specimens is measured during an impact test using a drop tower experiment. Strain of the specimens is evaluated by two independent approaches: i) double numerical integration of acceleration data and ii) digital image correlation technique. Thus, experimental setup is equipped with triaxial accelerometer and high speed camera. Resulting stress-strain curves are compared with behaviour of polystyrene material samples (polystyrene material is commonly used as a shock absorber) obtained from the same testing procedure and with stress-strain function determined from Alporas quasi-static compression testing.
Microcellular Polystyrene Foam Preparation Using High Pressure CO2
Nistor, A. ; Rygl, A. ; Bobák, M. ; Sajfrtová, Marie ; Kosek, J.
We prepared PS microcellular foams from PS films using high pressure CO2 as the blowing and nucleating agent. The PS film samples were prepared by a custom-built dipcoating apparatus using toluene as the solvent. We studied the influence of the foaming conditions (pressure, temperature, pressure release rate) on the resulting foam structure, which was analysed by X-ray micro-computed tomography (micro-CT), SEM and AFM.

Ekologická likvidace a recyklace plastických hmot
Nippon EKO a.s.
Strongly acidic sulfonovaný cation exchanger on polystyrene nanofibrous matrix (Nanospider TM technology) was prepared by simultaneous sulfonation and crosslinking. Weakly basic nanofibrous anion exchanger was prepared after transformation of sulfogroups to sulfochloride by reaction with ethylene diamine. Nanofibrous products were characterized by sorption capacity. They have sorption kinetic significantly faster in comparison with standard granular ion exchangers.
