Využití jílku jednoletého pro výživu dojnic v podmínkách ČR
Grézlová, Šárka
This bachelor thesis is concerned to use of annual ryegrass in dairy cows diets. Literature review focuses the general characteristics of grasses, then on the biology of grass including description of the root system, leaves, stalks and grass stems, flowers, seeds and grass tillering. Table and chart with the current number of species and varieties of forage grasses is included in this work. The main part of my bachelor thesis include characteristic of the genus ryegrass, which includes annual and Italian ryegrass, perennial ryegrass and hybrid ryegrass. Further I focused on annual ryegrass management, including harvest and forage quality. Thesis describes also potential of grass forage use in the nutrition of dairy cows and annual ryegrass inclusion to the ration of dairy cows. Finally, thesis shows the results of an experiment with annual ryegrass varieties tested at Research Forage Station at Vatín conducted for the company AGROKOP HB.
Využití naťových zelenin jako součást výživy moderního člověka
Vyhnánek, Miroslav
The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to give a literature overview on leaf vegeta-bles with the focus on the nutritive value and the place it stands in a human’s diet. I described 10 kinds of vegetables. I have given information about the origin, a botanical description, nutrition needs, methods of cultivation, disease risks and pests, harvesting methods, content of substances and potential use. The thesis involves a field experiment with the goal to verify the growth qualities and the content of substances. My focus was on the content of vitamin C, dry matter, expected yield, date of emerging and harvest, health condition of the plants during growth and the amount of time the vegetables can be stored for. These findings have been evaluated in graphs and tables.
Studium a ověřování sortimentu netradičních zelenin v podmínkách ČR
Skaličková, Zuzana
This study focused on 20 kinds of vegetables that Czech consumers do not only widely-consumed. Described herein is their appearance, origin and history, claims, cultivation pos-sibly proliferation, diseases and pests attacking the crop and treat plants against them, ways and time of harvesting and finally table nutritional values focusing on fiber, vitamin C, potas-sium, sodium calcium and magnesium, as well as in the field trial, which was carried out ac-cording to the assignment at 5 selected crops for which we measured morphological and lan-dlord-tion properties focusing on their height, width and weight before adjustment and af-ter-cleansing of the plants. For Brassica rapa (L.) var. nipposinica H. Bailey, Brassica rapa (L.) subsp. chinensis, Brassica rapa (L.) subsp. pekinensis, Raphanus sativus (L.) var. longipinnatus and Rocket Selvatica (L.) Mill is provided: vitamin C, dietary fiber, dry matter, antioxidants, phenols, flavonoids, carotenoids and minerals. All selected species will adapt to the conditi-ons of the ČR and have successfully propagated. These species can be described as promising and suitable for introduction into the country. It was also performed to evaluate of sensory-three vegetables in raw or processed form. The results were statistically evaluated and commented. It was found that the most nutritious crop is rukola. Also leaves white radish, sown provesly high nutritional value. Chinese and pekings cabbage reflected as average in terms of nutritio-nal value, but the flavor in the sensory evaluation of the respondents did well. Preferably, however, the respondents were turnips, thanks to its delicate taste and water levels.
Výhody a nevýhody porostů ozimé pšenice založených jako směs odrůd
Procházka, David
This thesis was aimed on the elaboration of literature review and a on the practical assessment of the field trial with a mixtures of varieties. The first part of the literature review was devoted to crop diversification in agriculture, which is closely related to mixtures of varieties. In the other part were characterized advantages of mixed varieties, such as better yield of mixed varieties in comparison with component varieties. We have also described some of the mechanisms for the creation of income (and mechanisms against pathogens). Another part was devoted to quality of mixed varieties. The last part was devoted to disadvantages resulting from the cultivation of mixed varieties. In the year 2013 it was founded field trial in Žabčice -- Nova obora, which was investigated in practical part. It was investigated effect of three binary mixtures. These mixtures were identified as : Elan + Golem, Viriato + Tobak Baletka and Annie. Each of pure component varieties were planted for checking and comparison. The main examined factors were yield, weight of thousand seeds, sedimentation index, wet gluten, gluten index, falling number, nitrogenous substances, weight and height of the plant. The best yield reached mixture Elan + Golem (average yield was 9.61 t / ha), it's yield reached the yield of the best variety Elan (9.92 t / ha). The mixture Tobak + Annie had higher average value of the falling number and nitrogenous substances than the pure varieties, average results this mixture reached in values of sedimentation index and wet gluten. In the total evaluation this mixture was recommended as the best one. The holder of the quality in this mixture was the Annie variety. This mixture has fulfilled requirements for baking quality and reached Czech elite level.
