The bachelor thesis focuses on the insurance protection of the business entity Coffee Bratři Ltd The aim of the thesis is to propose a suitable insurance protection based on the risk analysis of the business entity with regard to the current offer of insurance protection on the market. This thesis is divided into several parts, in the theoretical part the concepts related to risks and insurance are defined. In the analytical part, the risks to which the entity is exposed are analyzed and a suitable insurance product is designed to ensure its long-term stability and protect it from unexpected events. In the design part, it was recommended to take out insurance cover with the insurance company that was rated as the best based on selected criteria using a scoring model. The result of this work is a fully developed insurance protection for the business subject.

Special types of insurance companies as a competitive advantage to businesses and industry

This thesis has to select a type of insurance which will cause a competitive advantage to selected business. Selected type of insurance will cover losses caused by the damage suffered. Based on descriptions of selected companies - TSE spol. s r.o. and Mektec CZ s.r.o, has chosen business interruption insurance related to property insurance. For each company has created more tenders of insurance according to their requirements by companies Allianz, as and ČSOB, Inc. Both insured companies came out Allianz´s offer better due to lower cost. The TSE spol. s r.o. has accepted the recommended insurance offer unlike the Mektec CZ s.r.o. Thereby TSE spol. s.r.o has gained a competitive advantage.. Both insurated companies shares the same space, so there is a high probability that any disaster could hit both companies.

Property insurance as a necessary part of the enterprise insurance

The work is focused on risk analysis, using the risk management in the selected company. First I generally described the chosen TSE spol. s r.o. company. Then I analysed the risks resulting from the activities of the company with risk reports. On the basis of the analysis, I created a draft offer property insurance and liability. After the final comparison of the five major insurance companies, I recommended Allianz, a.s. insurance company that covers all the necessary risks.
