This bachelor thesis deals with functional calculation and design of belt conveyor for the transport wet sand for the transport capacity of 110,000 kg per hour, height difference of 4,5 m and axial distance between the drums of 40 m. The thesis includes functional calculation according to norm ČSN ISO 5048 and design of the belt conveyor.
Belt conveyor for crushed aggregate

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find a construction solution to the conveyor belt used for the crushed aggregate transport, the dimension of crushed aggregate particles being between 32 - 63 mm, the force of the conveyor belt equals 100 000 kg·h-1 while its height difference equals 15 m. The thesis includes a description of a conveyor belt and highlights its main parts. The thesis also presents the functional calculation according to the standard certification ČSN ISO 5048 and it includes the choice of suitable components available according to the various company catalogues. Another objective of the thesis is to provide an axis calculation for the driving drum and also the characteristics analysis of the transported material. The thesis also includes necessary technical drawing documentation support.
