Analysis of Iron-Phosphorus Reaction Products Formation During Heat Treatment Processes

During high pressure pulsation tests repeated cracks of CP3. housings occur. High pressure pump CP3 is part of injection system Common Rail. Cracks can be caused by segregation of phosphorous from a washing medium on grain boundaries during subsequent heat treatment process. The present master´s thesis focuses on analysis of phosphorous compounds on specimen surface made from steel 20MnCr5, which were soaked in solutions with different concentration of phosphorous. Master’s thesis is also focused on potencial influence of phosphorous on structure and properties of this material. The first part of the thesis provides a summary of current knowledge in the studied field, experimental results can be found in the second part. The surface analysis XPS, the light microscopy, the scanning electron microscopy equipped by energy dispersive chemical analysis, the glow discharge optical emission spectroscopy, the methods of the phase analysis by means of the X-ray diffraction and impact test were used.

Impact of fish pond harvest on water quality especially on

The topic of this thesis is the impact of fish pond harvest on water quality especially on concentration of suspended solids and phosphorous. Goal of the study is to contribute to ongoing discussion about carp aquaculture's role in fresh water pollution. Sampling was carried out in five carp ponds in the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area. Main monitored parameters were concentration of suspended solids and total phosphorous during pond drainage and fish harvest.Results of the study confirmed very negative impact of fish harvest on water quality in recipient water.

Optimization of raw iron production in blast furnace in Třinecké železárny

This bachelor thesis deals with the optimization of production of raw iron in blast furnace in Třinecké železárny. Beginning of the work is devoted to the operational management and its impact on company operations. This influence is particularly evident in the efficient use of available resources. The next section is devoted to the description of Třinecké železárny. Further I explore ways of raw iron and in detail described steel plants, which directly affect production. The aim of this thesis is to propose a model that will lower the cost of material needs of raw iron.
