Recognises patients' concept of breast carcinoma and recognises the patient's insight on possible causes of breast cancer. Theoretical part is dedicated to breast anatomy, division of breast cancer, possible surgical treatments of breast carcinoma, breast cancer prevention and definition of patient's concept of illness. Empirical part is based on acquired information from questionnaire survey. Recognises and compares concept of this illness before and after surgical treatment of breast carcinoma and whether the patient's concept of illness changes based on chosen surgery method. Furthermore, it focuses on finding out the patient's insights on possible causes of the creation of breast carcinoma.
