Comparison of selected indicators of lifestyle chemistry teachers and health education teachers.

This thesis focuses on the comparison of selected lifestyle indicators of chemistry teachers and health education teachers in primary schools. The selected indicators are, for example, drinking regime, physical activity, education in healthy nutrition, stress management, etc. The theoretical part explains the key terms from the pedagogical field and the selected indicators of healthy lifestyle. The practical part is focused on the comparison of these indicators and the negative or positive influence of teaching the subject on the lifestyle of the selected teachers. A QUAN- qual mixed design is used for this evaluation. The quantitative research was conducted by means of a questionnaire survey. Additional qualitative research was conducted using two interviews. The main target is to compare the lifestyles of health education teachers and chemistry teachers in primary schools using selected indicators. The sub-targets will then be to compare the extent to which the selected educators think they are following the principles of healthy nutrition. The second sub-target will then be to compare which subject taught has a greater positive impact on the health lifestyle of educators, the Health Education subject or the Chemistry subject. Factors affecting studens' decision to start a study programme in chemistry teaching

This bachelor's thesis is about discovering motivational factors that drive students to become chemistry teachers. The theoretical part firstly talks about choosing a profession with a science background, it focuses on factors that affect the career decision-making of students and picking a job in a science environment. Further, it presents Czech and foreign research as well as the publication of incentive theme for becoming a (chemistry) teacher. The research part is devoted to gathering and analyzing data that were collected using a FIT-Choice Scale questionnaire. Said questionnaire was firstly translated to the Czech language. The research was attended by 98 students of chemistry teaching from 8 colleges. Results exhibit that amongst the most important factors affecting a decision of studying chemistry teaching is working with kids and adolescent students additionally forming their future. Among others also important factors are the self-acknowledgment of personal teaching skills, the individual interest of the job, the conception of stable employment, effort of contributing the society, and previous experience with both teaching and learning. Ethical aspects of leading persons with autism spectrum disorders

The thesis addresses ethical aspects of upbringing and educating persons with autism spectrum disorders, focusing particularly on integrating them in a normal school. In the theoretical part the terms related to ASD issues are defined and specific behavior and expressions of children with autism and Asperger?s syndrome are described. This thesis is dedicated particularly to these individuals and to their integration to a normal school. Therefore this part of the thesis deals with the field of education and upbringing of these persons and it describes the educational principles, methods and strategies that are being used in this field. The thesis concentrates on ethical aspects of leading persons with autism spectrum disorder and therefore the theoretical part deals also with ethical aspects of education and upbringing and defines terms related to ethics. There are two case studies in the practical part of the thesis that show the problems and ethical dilemmas related to integrating pupils with ASD into a regular high school from the point of view of a teaching assistant. The thesis emphasizes the need for ethical education and ethical code in the education system that would guarantee that persons with ASD are led not only professionally, but also ethically.

This diploma paper deals with analysis of requirements of a teacher{\crq}s professional role and conditions for preparation and development of teacher{\crq}s competences at Faculty of Education of the University of South Bohemia. The theoretical part of the diploma paper deals with theoretical questions relating to this problem. The practical part is oriented on finding problems in teacher{\crq}s education through the use of confrontation of the point of view of those students who are finishing their pre-gradual preparation as well as of new teachers in their professional practice. The author first defined research methods and hypotheses and then she analyzed the list of questions which was later given to the supposing individuals.
